cscat Report post Posted April 11, 2015 Had some disgustingly sticky interior pieces. Lambo dealer said 'sorry buy new ones'. But my Ferrari dealer said 'no problem, we have an in-house guy that refinishes these'. They came out great, and make the car feel so much nicer. They have my GranTurismo right now and are going over every sticky piece in that car too. Service manager said even new cars are coming in with signs of sticky trim pieces after just a few months. Why do they still use this coating?!? Guess you get what you pay for, shoulda bought a Honda
yellomurci Report post Posted April 19, 2015 I just paid a shit load of money to have the buttons on my Murci center console changed, now notice that the buttons on the instrument cluster are going sticky, will look around prior to having them changed. Who was the Ferrari dealer please?

djantlive Report post Posted April 19, 2015 It's due to some stupid euro water based regulation. If you park under the sun, use a sunshade on the windshield. You can rub off the stick stuff with paint thinner and goo gone

Just to make them "feel softer"?
E7ITE Report post Posted April 21, 2015 I read on another forum that "tea tree oil" can fix the sticky interior parts issue.
