JanDaMan Report post Posted November 8, 2015 When I use the button to get the batwings to go up, they do so, but only stay up for about a minute or so. I thought using the button that they were supposed to stay up.
darth sidious Report post Posted November 8, 2015 They retract automatically once you hit 30. They also automatically deploy if the temperature is hot (i think its 26 deg or thereabouts). Not that I have much experience of this temperature where I live. There is an over-ride that keeps them up permanently. You have to have them in the deployed condition, switch off the ignition and simultaneously isolate the battery in the engine bay. A search on here will reveal the exact procedure. JanDaMan Report post Posted November 8, 2015 Thanks for the 30 MPH info. That explains them dropping.
Assman Report post Posted November 8, 2015 The only way to make them stay up is an easy ECU trick

marlonbvm Report post Posted November 10, 2015 Yes that is correct. They will only stay up when you override it manually. Otherwise they will retract once you hit over 30mph and it's not 85 degrees F or hotter.
