Alex@InterstateMotorsport Report post Posted December 29, 2014 Are there differences in the door shocks between early cars and later model cars? Or coupes VS. Roadsters. Where do you guys find the correct gas door shocks besides going through lambo? Thanks for the help! Alex
AMHParts Report post Posted December 29, 2014 What year do you need them for? I have had a few guys install the Murci ones on since they support better.
Placid Report post Posted December 29, 2014 What year do you need them for? I have had a few guys install the Murci ones on since they support better. Do Murci ones, and the doors will go up by themselves. Might be a little harder to close, but worth it imo.
Chipster Report post Posted December 29, 2014 What they said! Alex, there is a detailed writeup on these for an early Diablo in my restoring thread. Murcie struts work and aren't too pricey. Only need to swap one part from the old strut to the new one to make them work. Night and day difference!
