  1. Have you driven one? Do you understand that after you go through 3 sets of tires you have to change out the wheels according to the factory. Know how much those wheels are? Where in the world can you use that kind of power? I haven't had a ticket in over 5 years, but even with the SV, I know it is only a matter of time the way I drive it. Unless it's a collector car that has a chance of appreciating, spending $1million on a car is ludicrous. I actually enjoyed driving the LFA and taking a test drive with Paul the Lexus Rep. But even that car is over priced for the performance you get, but it sounds amazing.
  2. Second that. Had a Yellow top in my Esprit, wouldn't go even a week without driving or charging. Optima's require special chargers, a normal CTEK will not work on them. You need the $100+ model CTEK charger to work on them. They are also very heavy. Bought a Walmart battery for the Esprit, never had an issue after that. Just FYI, I would roll the windows down next time, you are asking for trouble leaving all the accessories running full blast with the car turned off, hopefully you learned you lesson, will save you further embarrasment.
  3. I drove one up in Seattle a month back. In a straight line, it's insanely quick, never felt that kind of push ever before, but if you are looking for an exotic that sounds like a diesel truck, this is the car to get. Also the gear dilay is really wierd, it goes from right to left in increasing gears. After riding in Tom's SV, it was an easy decision. SV
  4. Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a TT Gallardo? Why ruin a rare SV? Now we have one less until it's put back together. Mine just went up in value I guess?
  5. I was looking forward to seeing it "hook up" off the line with all that power and 2WD! Especially since it would not be utilizing boost by gear.
  6. Come on David, get that Scuderia weighed!
  7. Anyone that knows my cars previous owner, could I please get the owner's manual and battery tender back please. Assuming it is C. Monnin?
  8. That is a great shot right there. I wanted the V.I. Performante that is still at Lamborghini Las Vegas, but the wife wanted the black one. It has been sitting a while, they might deal on it?
  9. Car is safe at home after the 4 hour drive back from Seattle: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=101...2539&type=3
  10. They are supposed to have the car ready for me to pick up tomorrow. I am really sick of the the run around. Seems like they are putting other cars in front of mine, since I live 4 hours away. Have to call at the end of the day to see if it will be ready. It was supposed to be ready Friday evening, but of course it wasn't. I have not driven the car enough to decide on the 2wd conversion as of yet.
  11. Why the wheel change? The stock wheels IMO look fabulous?
  12. I would be happy to give you details on mine
  13. Why? The stock exhaust sounds just fine.
  14. I got to see Josh work on your car, looked great, and my favorite color for a Countach.
  15. Traction is not an issue, since the bet was from a rolling 40-120mph +, since it is extremely hard on both cars clutches to do a launch. If the comparison is in wheel hp, then it will be even worse for the Performante at 450 AWHP estimate, vs. 425 estimate for a Scuderia.
  16. Ok, now you need a Scuderia. Scott has one in the area. He is Scott40 if I remember right on Fchat.com
  17. Guessing that's 500-700 lbs. heavier than a Scuderia with the same amount of fuel. Performante needs an extra 75.98 hp at least to make up the weight difference, currently only a difference of 562-503 or 59 hp. Going to be interesting.
  18. Rad had mentioned you might be able to do your Scuderia Veloce' exhaust with valves? Any news or updates on this, as it would be nice during longer drives to Seattle / Redmond area to have less noise.
  19. Don't you have a landfill or dump close by, a truck stop also would work? Lookimg forward to seeing the results.
