  1. Also keep in mind that these are the stock tires, not the sticky TOYO's and these runs were on a normal road which was of course closed off to the publlic, not on a prepped drag strip.
  2. I can't believe what a difference the black wheels made. I was feeling luke warm about the verde calipers with the wheels the stocdk color but with the wheels in black the car looks absolutely amazing.
  3. I think it is really a superior car all around. The suspension is different, the electronics are different, lots of hardware changes as well. I can say this for sure.......if you are into racing from a dead stop, whether it be at a drag strip or a traffic light, this is THE car to have. It is unbelieveably quick and easy to drive. You get the Lambo coolness plus the comfort of knowing that if you happen to be sitting at a traffic light and a guy in a Veyron pulls up next to you wanting to race..........you are going to give him one hell of a surprise.
  4. Thanks, Aaron for taking time out of your weekend to analyze thie files. I really can't say enough good things about the LP560. The combination of the launch control and the car shifting itself make for a ridiculously consistent package. It just works over and over again. I was shocked to see the car run as well asi it did on such a low level of boost (7psi) and I'm certain that nine second quarter mile times are attainable with a bit more tweaking and a bit more boost. Please keep in mind that what makes this so incredible is that this car still has a stock, well........everything. Everything but the turbo system is stock. The tires, clutch, engine and suspension are all stock! Thanks again, Aaron for sifting through the files and thank you, Lamborghini for taking the brand to the next level!
  5. The body kit does need a few adjustments which I'm sure will be taken care of now that the car is back in Canada and can get over to the body shop that did the install. Livre, Thanks. It's a shame you couldn't see it with the rear panel off. Unfortunately most of the real art gets covered up when the car is assembled.
  6. Nice video, Allan. That Zonda has to have the worst color / interior combination ever.
  7. I just got back from the Lamborghini of Sarasota unveiling of the LP550-2. I have to say that the cars really look great in person (what Lamborghini doesnt?). I'm not totally in love with the white stripe on the seats and white console but the rest of the car looks incredible. The Superleggera wheels give it a nice racy look and the carbon fiber engine compartment package is a really nice touch. I drove our TT LP560 to the event but couldn't interest Valentino in a race. Thanks to Victor Young for the invite. Here are a few pics of the car, Valentino and I and one of the most nicely optioned Murci Roadsters I've ever seen.
  8. Thanks for the heads up Bernard. There was not stock dyno testing done on this car becasue the car and engine were sent to us separately.
  9. I would like to sincerely thank all of you for all of the positive comments that have been made with regard to this system. When you look at the finished product here I think it is very easy to see that we here at Heffner Performance are quite passionate about the cars that we are building. We have been doing quite a bit of testing with this car over the last week and by now we likely have every Sarasota County Sheriff on the lookout for a white Murcielago. I am extremely happy with the way this car has performed and held up to the testing that it has endured up to this point. I have some more video and pictures that I will post shortly. Thanks again. Jason Heffner
  10. A 10.9 sounds a bit on the slow side of reality for the 6.2 Murci. A 12.1 also sounds slow for a stock Gallardo. A 9.4 for the 6.0 sounds reasonable.
  11. Thank you Aaron. It's really hard to tell what is "fast" any more judging by the seat of my pants. My perception of "fast" is a bit skewed. Does anybody have 60-130 numbers from a stock 580 HP Murci? We also put up some high resolution images of the turbo system on our site: http://www.heffnersperformance.com/heffner_murcielago.htm Click on Murci TT and then there is a link to the images.
  12. I just got back in from doing some V Box runs. This outing was at about 950 rwhp. I have e mailed the data to Aaron and he should have it all analyzed shortly.
  13. I would love to post more information right now but I have to go play with this TT Murci and a V Box since our drag strip action got rained out last night.
  14. I wasn't planning to post pictures until I had videos edited and everything ready to go. The car has been dyno'd, driven and will be on it's way to Calgary tomorrow. I guess now I should hurry up with the videos, other pictures and dyno sheets?
  15. I would say that it is most valid to judge the cars potential when it is in the hands of the owner. Any one of the cars that we have built have the potential to make more power than we tune them to but when you are pushing the envelope you need to do it in a more controlled environment. If I was going to be with each customer every time they drove their cars monitoring air fuel ratios and knock sensor voltages we could certainly run more boost, more timing and perhaps a bit less fuel. This is what we do when we go to the race track with customers but when you are sending cars thousands of miles away you have to add in a safety margin to account for variables in weather, elevation, fuel inconsistencies and such. If you were really most interested in knowing what a TT Gallardo runs like when it is in the hands of someone several states away then why buy one? It is really all about what gets delivered to your door in my opinion.
  16. What? Now you want to strike me??? (Another attempt at humor)
  17. So you're saying you would absolutely slaughter Aarons car in a 50 to 150 race? It wouldn't even be close, you say? Wow.
  18. You are not kidding. When I went out to LA with Ray to get the LP640 I remember saying "How in hell could someone have had this car for a year and only put 600 miles on it?" Then we proceeded to make the 45 minute drive to the hotel..........3 miles away!
  19. Hahahaha. I should have sent you a H.A.N.S. device back with the car. Congratulations on the great runs. Oh, and I love the new screen name.
  20. www.catexpress.com These guys have shipped numerous cars for me. Reasonable rates and timely delivery.
