  1. To quote Family Guys Cleveland - "that's nasty."
  2. I thought US cars had to have amber side markers. Did the rules change?
  3. Not a bad day when taking the "slow one" means jumping into the LP700. Really nice car.
  4. Not cool - I live in an area with lots of twisty roads and will only cross lines if the dashes are on my side. The guys an idiot. What's wrong with how he grips the wheel? I thought the thumb hooks were there to hook your thumbs in place so they won't move
  5. Cat bypass would be great, but would defeat the purpose of the audiophile-grade system I'm planning for the car.
  6. Mike, not yet. I was just replying so David would know which mods I was thinking about. Believe me, there will be photos everywhere when I finally get the car.
  7. 560. Looking to do ECU/exhaust also. From what I understand doing ECU and exhaust would increase hp/tq. Would the cats primarily improve the sound or would there be noticeable performance gains as well? Specifically, would the low end torque be affected by the sport cats? Just for the sake of asking - would the ECU/cats/exhaust produce flames at the tailpipes?
  8. Has anyone installed the fabspeed sports racing cats? I would really like to hear about real world performance improvements and if they were significantly louder than the stock units.
  9. I know that the reason the engine is rebuilt for stage 2 is to protect against excessive stress on critical engine components. If I were to drive a Stage 1 car for a year and then have it upgraded to Stage 2 would all potentially "stressed" components be replaced in the rebuild of the engine?
  10. Very nice - really like the color. TT will be a monster! I'm thinking about a UGR conversion when I finally get my 560. I assume you're a dentist - general or specialist? I'm a pediatric dentist in NJ.
  11. My wife will probably lift the hood and tell me the engine is gone. No chance of her finding the turbo kit - even if she realizes the engine is in the back she won't know what anything is.
  12. Considering I still have my mind set on a 560 (and possibly a UGR conversion) I'm thinking a lift may be in order. My wife will never look at the engine, so the TT setup will be easy to hide. I think she may notice a giant lift in the garage, though.
  13. With the mega-hp cars everyone on this forum is driving I was wondering what types of radar/laser jammer setups are being used. I am thinking of going with the Escort 9500ci and maybe a set of blinder M27s in the front grille when I finally get my car. Has anyone successfully used a laser jammer in the grill without cutting apertures for them?
  14. Do you need a lift to do this properly or can a set of jack stands work?
