  1. Price reduced for the weekend....$3,000 and buyer pays shipping.
  2. Hi, Had these for sale on an off for the last few months. 598R, true 3 piece wheels. 20" Rears/ 19" Fronts. Pirelli rubber. Package is virtually new. This set up will cost $10,300 from a HRE Dealer (call them and ask). Finally serious and ready to move em. First $4k and buyer pays shipping (figure $4-500) These are almost new condition and ready to ship. They were very briefly on our 07..traded for our 2011 SL....dealer wanted the car with the OE wheels. Sitting at the dealer in Vegas, ready to ship. Realistic cash ready buyers only...lemme know!
  3. Just confirmed....these are the same wheels that UG uses on most of the TT Gallardos....
  4. Hey guys, Sold my 07 RV Spyder...kept the gorgeous HRE 598R wheels. (will try to include pics). Perfect condition and the Pirelli tires are near new. Called the HRE dealer in LA and he told me that the replacement cost is $10k+. These are the same wheels often seen on UG Lambos (mine are silver...theirs are usually black) In this market, what are these wheels/ tires worth? Want to sell these asap. They are collecting dust at the Lambo dealer in Vegas (where I bought my 2011 570-4) Thanks for any suggestions as to price.
  5. My 2011 LP-570 had starting issues....turned out to be a lose wire on the starter motor...
  6. Hey...I too thought I had this issue on my 07 last summer (turned out to be nothing). Called please check with our franchised lamborghini dealer sponsors...and they have a source for the rebuilt part for less than $3k...FYI.
  7. Webster...is your SL sold or not...I called them today (and yesterday) and they told me that they have an accepted offer with a back up....is this true? If not...dude, I want to buy it!
  8. Was meaning to pass this info along as well...save someone the time of figuring this stuff out. There are a bunch of 1 piece Forged Wheels available and coming for sale. Most are marketed as being light weight...as in...lighter vs a 3 piece wheel. I went to a wheel manufacturers actual facility and had them weigh one of their 1 piece forged wheels....and then a 3 piece wheel (that I thought for sure would be a boat anchor). Side note, was cool seeing how the wheels were made. Please don't ask the maker who gave me the tour. They were super cool to put up with me. I was wrong...both weight exactly the same. 26lbs. Both were 20 inchers for the record. At the end of the day which ever wheels make you happy (and are safe)...go for it.
  9. Hey guys, Update on the OP. Went with HRE 798Rs. 20" in the back...19" in the front. P-Zeros. Honestly, you can't go wrong with all the choices that are out there. We went with the HREs due to their build quality, design and the fact that they are nearly the only wheel that has actually been TUV tested and approved. I have read far too many stories about inferior wheels literally coming apart at speed to risk it. For reference sake: OE Callistos weigh 28lbs front and 31lbs rear. 19"/ 19" HRE 798Rs weigh 23lbs front and 26lbs rear. 19"/ 20"
  10. Ya know what...yeah I do...I do feel better Thanks for posting those pics. Weights...anyone weigh any of the ADV wheels? As long as they are not heavier than the OE wheels...I am all in.
  11. The more I learn about the aftermarket wheel industry the more uncertain I feel... Why? 1) They don't seem to know their wheel weights...or...hate to say it...don't tell the truth. I don't want to get into details but...recently I weighed a new 'forged lightweight' wheel that was being marketed as the lightest on the market for the G. Sitting next to this wheel was a 3 piece bling-bling type wheel. (made by the SAME company). BOTH weighed the same...26lbs. They were the same size etc. The guy who was helping me was honestly surprised. Point is, this light weight wheel...was a brick. 2) TUV testing. its the global standard. Try finding a wheel maker who has TUV tested wheels. 3) I am guessing but, I bet that 95% of the wheel brands dont make their own wheels. They buy the barrels from China...then have someone else put them together. I think the dirty little fact is that most wheel brands are designers AND marketers. Nothing wrong with that...I am all for making money and outsourcing. But, I want a wheel from a company like BBS that has been around forever and makes the best overall product. For those of you who have gone down this same road...what did you end up doing and why? (I do love the looks of the ADVs and they do look amazing on Lambos...but, not at the cost of safety or overall performance.)
  12. Hey guys, Sliding the slippery slope of new wheels for our G...SO many options. Love the ADV.1 Deep concave wheels...and 2 or 3 other brands. I am clear that forged wheels are the way to go... Weight is important. I had heavy 20" wheels on a previous car and they did have a negative effect.. Questions: Any idea how much the OE Callisto wheels weigh? And What are the lightest 19" and 20" wheels...? Any help would be appreciated.
  13. We have the comfort option on our G....and would get it again. Its plenty stiff and hard core...with this option. A stiffer suspension, seats etc would make the car not as fun on longer trips etc. We DO track the car and had no problems...
  14. If you want to drive down to Laguna Beach...I have a LOC you can hear and one for sale as well.
  15. Great car....never seen that combo. Classic Lambo. Price appears to be great given what it is. Ask yourself this question...how will you feel if someone else buys it...? If the answer is you don't give a hoot...not the car for you. if you feel loss...jump on it now.
  16. Topic title says it all....if you have a LOC exhaust that will work on a 07 Gallardo...lemme know!
  17. Hey guys, I had no idea how different this thing is from my past current Ferrari/ Maserati's. WAAAAY more bells and whistles. When at a full stop...on a hill (etc) the Maserati's will actually hold the car for you momentarily vs allowing the car to roll..as you transition from the brake to the gas...and the F1 trans engages. Noticed this evening that the Lambo does not do this. Take your foot off the gas and it rolls. So, the best way to start from a complete stop on an incline is foot on brake...easy off...ease on gas? Am I missing something?
  18. Thanks man...finally got Hagerty to cover it...nice people, great to work with but...oh man are they thorough. I would recommend anyone to use them. Going to have the annual service done this week (can't be sure if its been done...just being safe) and will be attending the Lamborghini Club of America drive from the Irvine Cars and Coffee up to LA for a preview of the newest Murci....great way to get into the groove with the Lambo world. Couple interesting side notes. Lambo OC is alive again. Owned by the Ferrari/ Maserati dealership. Lambos location is in Costa Mesa at the same facility where they run service and sell new Maseratis. A treat for the senses to be sure...all in one spot my favorite car brands! Hats off again to Bellagio in Costa Mesa. Fred has been fantastic. He emailed me several times today just to make sure I didn't need help...with insurance...etc. Great experience.
  19. OK Guys, done deal. Bought her. WOW what a ride. SO much more than any of the Porsches or Ferrari (though it was a 348 Spyder 10 years ago ). I was very close on a F430 Spider but, just didn't love it. I felt lighter...maybe a little quicker but, I can't get over the looks. Its simply not beautiful. It looks cool...bad ass even...but, its not a looker. This Gallardo Spyder in the Rosso Vic is simply stunning. So, we have had many flashy cars. But, I had no idea what a rock star this car would be. We are in the OC and there is no lack of flashy cars...but, we weren't ready for the attention...camera phones...you name it. I honestly had no idea. It will be funny the stories my wife has to share with me after she has driven this car with the top down on her own. She gets flirted with in her SL (now gone)...the Lambo will be nuts. Anyway, I am a little overwhelmed. Will need to grab some pics and post em. Side note: Fred over at Balagio in the OC was great. He made the whole process...on a SUNDAY....perfect. I will use him again. Pics coming as soon as I can.... RVic
  20. Just swapped emails with the dealer....he said the most recent readout said the clutch has 65% life left.....sound in line with 8500 miles?
  21. Thanks guys....you are giving me the push I needed. For what its worth, the owner of the place...Fred...fantastic Lambo loving dude. Clutch....I read that the 04/05 G's had inferior clutches vs the 06+..... I will have a PPI done....how long do the clutches on these things last? Typical use?
  22. what do you think is a decent price for the car...I understand you points about the color...most Lambo owners want a brighter color etc. This would be a shared car and the wife doesn't like the brighter colors....so, this would be a compromise of sorts...
  23. As the subject line says....think we found the Lambo we have been looking for. Not sure about the price. I know we could buy it for $135... Car has a ton of options..some that I have never seen before. We love the color...etc Offer opinions...would appreciate it: http://www.bellagiomotors.com/detail-2007-...nv-5212487.html
