  1. I think two tone paint, front one color rear another, was an option that year!!
  2. Haha...great thread! Well done skokos...kid got clowned!
  3. I was kind of joking...more a crack at Rod Stewart than the car. Seems waay overpriced regardless
  4. Seems expensive considering its a rod stewart car...
  5. Which cars are on the market now? Always loved the Miura and thinking maybe its time...
  6. Bid them lower...no need to jump at anything in this market.
  7. I love mine as well! Here are my thoughts: Driving experience/Fun - awesome, i love it. It's basically a street legal race car. The car has a tremendous amount of power and just continues to pull. There are no driver aids so you definitely have to respect the car. Alot have been totaled because drivers just dont appreciate the power it has. If you've had a viper, etc you are fine. It is amazingly docile when just driving around but when you want to push it - its got more then enough there. Reliability - I have put over 1k miles on mine and had no issues as of yet. Any minor issues the guys on the GT forum are very helpful in diagnosing and assisting in but it seems that overall the GT is a solid and reliable car. The engine is also easily upgradeable whether its a whipple supercharger, pulley and tune or TT from Heffner, etc if you want more juice. Plus maintenance is cheap as hell too. Negatives - cant think of any really, it really is an all around great package. I think the doors get a bit annoying since you need a really wide spot to park in. The stock exhaust sounds a little docile in my view as well but thats an easy fix. The GT gets ALOT of attention, more than a ferrari or lambo in my view, which i consider a negative but others may disagree. Lets face it, if you want a nice fit and finish with piping on the seats, navigation, etc - Lambo or Ferrari is a better choice. Seeing as you have a G already, get the GT. You wont be disappointed! I have not met a single GT owner who regretted owning it. I would check the ford gt forum for additional owner commentary. On resale - yeah they have held up quite well and i think that continues. Only 4028 were made, a good number have been totaled. Plus only 101 were officially exported. With the dollar as weak as it is and the relative price/performance alot of these are getting shipped abroad. Anyway - those are my thoughts.
  8. Iforged Astras - I only know because i copied Ray for my GT! He had them on his yellow GT before and they looked killer (see iforged website). I think they look even hotter on his black one.
  9. Ben - Any updates on the car? How do you like it?
  10. I know lotus was involved in the development of the Tesla but the Evora looks way too much like it...
  11. I think the bigger issue here is the fact that just over 4k were made and only 101 were ever exported. With the dollar being so weak, so many of the GTs are being exported out of the US to the middle east, europe, s america, etc. For the performance, looks and relative rarity (compared to a 430, LP640, Gallardo) its a good value. Plus those cars are continually produced leading to more depreciation. I think prices continue to go higher. Supply/demand will be the driver in the long run but given totaled cars and exported cars supply is only going down in the US and demand for these cars only increases for the most part. Alot of GTs are being stored as well. Finally, given Fords financial woes there will not be another new GT for a long while.
  12. yeah black NO OPTION is a damn hard find! no stripes in general are hard but to find one with no mac or no wheels would be a true rarity! I prefer the no stripe cars personally and think black no stripe is a just an awesome look, its probably the only other GT i would want.
  13. Thanks man - been lurking on LP for a bit so i read about you selling your FGT. What color you getting this time?
