  1. Looks good, but I still dig the Ruf CTR3.
  2. Is it just me, or is a single color Veyron (especially red) kind of boring?
  3. Brother has camera and out of town. Cosmetically, it's not that bad, but I can feel broken plastic underneath. I made contact on the red portion of the picture, and I feel broken goodness around the blue. This fortunately appears to be left of the airflow and won't make much of a difference. Will take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what it needs.
  4. Hit a massive parking block in front of me. Totally forgot it was there because there was no wall in front of the spot like all the others. Pulled forward and hit it nicely. Real loud scrape noise. Scraped it nicely and crunched/broke some plastic shit underneath. Can't tell the extent of the damage yet because it's dark and raining. Hopefully the force at which I hit it didn't damage anything other than the plastic. There goes the $2500 I won yesterday.
  5. IS-F hasn't been getting the best reviews lately, particularly in the performance comparisons.
  6. So do I. Maybe his eyesight is going Without them, I'd be destined to have to talk to way more people at stop lights. Sunglasses and loud music help me avoid it.
  7. That is US market only. Lamborghini has sold 1900 cars thus far this year. With an estimated 5000 R8's per year, that number sound right for what the US allocation should be. They can make 25 R8's per day. However, there are a far more people who want R8's than Gallardos. This is what keeps prices higher and the wait longer. I was told 3-4 months for a LP560, and there are plenty on show room floors going for MSRP. Either the price is too high for the LP560, or the price is too low for the R8. I'm going to say that the LP is too high. In any case, the R8 is still more exclusive simply because there are 5 years worth of G's out there. 5 years of cars that look essentially the same is probably a reason for excess inventory.
  8. So how fast is it? Hard to say just by the videos. IIRC, their website quoted some pretty huge power output with their turbo Ferraris, then again, these are some very old cars.
  9. I'll still take Quattro's bankroll and resources over MTM. He was an engineer for Audi, though it was some time ago and surely Quattro has more experience with the R8 platform than anyone else. I'm sure MTM is more than qualified to carry out sure a project and I don't doubt that it's a sweet ride.
  10. Sorry, it wasn't intended to be a jab at you. I was just expressing my opinion on the matter. I doubt there are any after market CGT lips going around and I'm sure I'd end up paying $580 from the factory if I needed one, so yours is in fact a good deal and they do look good.
  11. Aside from it being a matter of taste, is there any reason one would want a 1200 hp Murcie instead of a 1200 hp Gallardo?
  12. Ha! Quote from the OP, "With the car being so low, I'm sure most if not all of you have scraped the rubber/plastic lip." I mean, who would dare put cheap pieces of plastic on a CGT? Maybe Porsche AG. It sounds to me like the put on a cheap plastic lip and then charge you $580 so that it become a not-cheap plastic lip. I don't doubt the quality of the carbon fiber, I just questioned the use of it.

  14. Refrain from using insults unless you can speak the language fluently. It works against you.
  15. They'd probably be pretty close. Similar power, torque on this is a little more but it probably still weighs a little more. Based on their numbers, the LP still should be a little faster.
