its the 3M matte aluminum
-
honestly, tried to do it myself and was doing a poor job and had it done at our local commercial wrap shop.
-
Honestly, orange wouldn't be my first choice on color. Its beautiful but a little too bright for my personal choice. but I couldn't say no to the car at the price. I'm much happier with the matte aluminum wrap. If I dont like it down the road off it comes.

Finished the Matt Gray on my Orange 2012 LP 550-2. The orange peeking through is growing on me... of course it got windy and started to rain as I snapped the shots.

That's the backup option. If I can get it fixed I'll still probably wrap it afterwards. It drives me crazy that I'll always know its there.

any particular product ideas?

So it came sooner rather than later, the first scratch, looks like someone got a little douchy with a shopping cart. But in a very interesting place, my passenger side headlight washer cover!!! on painted area didnt go through the wax, but on the black of the washer cover a nice big scuff. Any option to repair or replace? Ive seem replacement overs for thanks in advance

Really inspired by this thread... a year later, how well did the wrap hold up?

BEWARE - PSEUDO SPOILER I'm sorry, I went full meh. The death star-ish exhaust port weakness on the drones... If word gets out to the other Jacks she is going to be a very busy girl...

In for a set!

Just from the looks of the kit I wouldn't imagine so. If they were starting from old frames just maybe, but these seem like purpose built club racers. Very affordable compared to other offerings in the genre too..

Thanks, like many I wasn't planning on buying it right then but couldnt walk away.

Would anyone happen to know if the body panels: fenders, bumpers, bonnet, etc are the same between the 550 and the other late model variants? Its a 2012...
-
They are actually carbon fiber. I'm not the first owner, its a trade in with 2500 miles roughly.
