  1. are you sure http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hot_li...st_drive_review The energizer in the Veyron is a WR16 displacing 7998cc and turbocharged with 15.8 psi of boost.
  2. good eye i didn't even realize that the first time a saw the pic, even though it sticks out.
  3. i have to imagine LOC adds more then msII because from what i've seen it looks like it has less muffler and flows better
  4. idk why but i think the vin diesel is the funniest post in a while for this thread
  5. pretty sure retromobile that will go like hell
  6. :zthread needs pics: lol but really they dont work at all
  7. http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/16/murci-m...4-sv-at-geneva/ can anyone thats actually seen the sv confirm if these are real or just a murci with a spoiler, i'm hoping just a murci with a spoiler because to me that doesnt look really different sorry if a repost
  8. one of the reasons it looks so awkward is because its suppose to have the lowest drag of any production car. i think the outgoing clk looked better, this isn't awful though
  9. they already have a twin s/c setup for the enzo, so no need to do that, sure he wants turbos for numerous reasons
  10. To overall sales similar or small performance difference don't make that big of a difference. (sorry for using top gear, but the information is easily accessible to me i don't want to make anything up) in top gear they compared Ferrari 575 to a Plastic mess-06, and more recently a lp640 vs a zr1 now performance wise in both test they are similar, but not many would decide on the POS if they originally were looking at the Italian. It's also like the sl65 its priced around a lp560, i'm sure some people do, i'm sure most just say they are lookin at an sl or a lp, but they aren't really comparably imo, an Italian exotic or a german super roadster there is no competition. They are both great cars, but aimed at different people. There is no doubt the r8 is an outstanding car, and it may take some sales away form the g, but for the bulk of it, i dont see them being competitors regardless of how close the performance is, its not the only thing that matters.
  11. well it should deliver insane performance having a 7.3 v12 with around 700 hp and weighing no more then 1500kg (thats what they said the max weight would be) should be an incredible car, but i agree not for that price
  12. i agree with lambo-n-it make sure you research every aspect dont want to think about how much a new engine costs for a gallardo. motec sounds reputable but that doesn't make them infallible. back when i had an s2000 the "best tuner" on the east coast tuned a lot of s2000's and every once and again there would be one that blew its engine on his tune so ask the tuner what they do if something goes wrong due to thier tune
  13. yeah let us know, also email whoever your getting the kit from there is a chance they would if the kit comes with a piggy back or its own tuning, you never know if they will or not ask some aftermarket companies are really good about that kind of stuff
  14. i didn't know that about gallardo tt's, more generalization on most turbo cars you loose the headers for a manifold. if it was up to me i would loose the cat but it is not necessary on most turbos as well. i would listen to turbogallardo's opinion because i'm sure he knows much more then me about this. I do agree if it was my gallardo i wouldnt risk it by not having the engine built, i would save up however longer it takes and get it done right and bulletproof. also kisco depending on the company it may not be covered if its blows you have to ask them if they cover the engine, i'm guessing if its just a bolt on they may not, but who knows definitely ask before hand
  15. I agree An AEM/piggy back is needed and i agree more, you will get more out of the AEM though it'll cost more to tune i'd imagine. And no supercharger uses headers turbos run off the exhaust you have the manifold in place of the header leading the exhaust gases through the turbo then through the down pipe out to the exhaust and to the cat if you dont delete them my friend is turbo'd and still has his cat because he can't stand the smell Also the difference is the 2JZ is a a mainly cast iron/steel engine, while pretty sure the g is almost all aluminum that's why heffner makes them stronger like the murci engine. i may be wrong
  16. just to be anal if your getting a tt kit, there wont be anymore headers. as for the rest i dont know any answers for sure, but given the compression ratio of 12.5:1 i would have to imagine it could handle 6 psi, most other cars can handle around there without major modifications.
  17. yeah cant say i'm a huge fan of the panamera at all
  18. nope not yet. congratulations that is one amazing Christmas present
  19. idk somehow the rims look too flat to me if that makes sense.
