I certainly dont doubt that the SLR would be more stable at high speeds. Im referring to whether or not the Z has the muscle to pull away from the SLR on the big end. Im surprised your car felt unstable. Then again, youre benchmarking it against some pretty serious high-speed machines.

I'd be very surprised if a 500rwhp C6Z06 that weighs significantly less than an SLR wasnt able to easily outrun it, all other things being equal.

Franco is an independent lambo mechanic in the San Fernando Valley here. Ive heard good things about him, he looks after Vahe's cars, including his twin supercharged roadster. Abolfaz, Ive seen the twin vortech setup on an SV here in CA a couple of times. I dont think the guy drives it too hard, so no idea how it runs, etc. The car in general is in slightly ratty shape.

Its the power delivery that causes that. An 800hp supra needs a monster turbo that spools late and hits like a freight train. You cant feather it, youre either full bore or off boost and dead in the water. If we're talking high hp supercharged FGTs, then its because the power is much easier to meter. Even if you bring the TT monsters into the equation, youve still got smaller turbos and more displacement to reduce the imbalance and smooth out the power delivery, or spread the torque over a wide rpm band. Plus, the engine/drivetrain layout is more conducive to hooking the power up than on a front engine, rwd car.

That LPE car is awesome, personally (and this is my opinion so its worth the paper its printed on) I think you should refit the interior with as many stock parts as possible (seats, etc etc) and then relist it with the other pics pulled out. Right now I see a great looking car with an interior that looks like a 86 Foxbody project car. Some rich old clucker is going to buy this thing and shit himself the first time it goes into boost. It will be back up for sale in no time. LPE tends to build cars so bloody fast the customers cant handle it!!!! :supz:
