I finally got my Gallardo back from having the new clutch and release bearing changed. They had it for a month and spent 23 hours in labor. My car is a 2004 manual. I had the local Audi/Porsche dealer here do the work (thier first Lambo). The GOOD news is that the LP560 Release Bearing will fit the older cars. The bearing for the 04 was $3K compaired to the new LP560 bearing which is under $800. We changed out the flywheel bolts and used Audi ones which is the same. The car runs great and I'm happy to have it back.

It is now...... getting woarse. I could baby it and make it last a little longer, but I have a trip planed at the end of the month and I want to bring it. I dont want to get out in no-where-Mississippi and be broke down with a bunch of rednecks scratching their heads and trying to figure out where the motor is on this thing.

Im changing my clutch in my 04 G manual. I was looking at the throw out bearing to replace also. The new clutch is the "G" clutch and I have it already. I was looking at the thow out bearing, part number 086141671A to order and I am told by another dealer that the new 08614167K throw out bearing (which is in the 09-10 LP560) will still fit the 2004 G. There is a big difference in price also; the "A" bearing is $3100, where the "K" bearing is under $700. According to " Euospares.co.uk " the "K" bearing will fit. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

Great Thanksgiving day. Took the Gallardo out of town to eat with inlaws family. Driving 120mph up and down the hills was a blast with little traffic. I slowed down for a couple of cars ahead and next thing I saw was red and blue lights start flashing behind me. The cop speeds past me and pulls over the car ahead of me. Whew..... close one. Good food, good family,,, great ride...

Just let me know when and where...you know I will show up..lol I will even carry your camera bag and set up your lights..LOL

Looking at getting a Heffner Carbon Fiber Engine Bonnet with the glass in my 04 Gallardo. Any of you have any experience with this bonnet?

Ok guys. I live in Louisiana where we do hunt gators. I have killed several. Here the season is only open in September and you must have tags. As the gators get large they can be a big problem especially in populated areas. They will eat your dogs and kids although you don't hear of it happening often. The good thing about gators is that most all of the gator is used. The meat is eatten, the skin is used for shoes, purses,etc.., and the head and claws are sold to tourist.

Some men are "ass" men and like more in the "trunk".....lol and some just dont. When i bought the car I was not sure about the rear either. But, the more I looked at it, the more I liked it. Now I prefer the painted rear defuser over the black. Its all in taste. But, your right about one thing....the pics are stunning. Thanks
