Just wow...

So I have now seen a few episodes of this show, it is not bad. They take two 'supercars' and run them against each other in 0-60, 0-100-0, 60-130, and through a slalom course while logging all the data with video vboxes. Paul Tracy drives one and Tanner Foust drives the other, and they talk a bit of shit to each other throughout the show. They have done a Camel Clunge aka ZR1 vs an SRT10, a 997TT vs a GTR, a 430 vs a GT3RS, and the one i saw last night was a 1000hp? mustang vs a 1000hp? camaro. The Mustang was the faster car and I think they said it had a 10.x second 60-130 time? that sounds insanely slow for a supposed 1000hp car. That got me thinking it would be very cool to see a GTT on this show, possibly competing against a TTGT or something. What would it take to make this happen i wonder, and would there be a GTT owner interested in doing something like that?

A friend showed me this, and I am trying to dig up the story behind it. I figure this has to have a good backstory, right? Anyway, I thought I would enlist the resources of LP to dig into it.

I think it will be in my top 5 ever also, but i need to see it again to confirm. Got to love movies that are better the second time watching them.

I liked avatar, the 3d was awesome. But, it is not even in the same zip code, never mind ballpark as Inception.

Another Dawkins fan here... have read selfish gene and the ancestor's tale. Both incredible books. I love the kind of dry humor he injects into his work, makes you smile to yourself at the same time as making you think. Oh yeah, nice site and vehicles too...

Had a pet iguana when I was a kid. He was about the size of the one in the vid when he was full grown. He was very tame, used to climb all over me and sit on my back/shoulders all the time. They are vegetarians for sure, mine used to LOVE strawberries, The one in the vid was trying to scare you off by sticking up all his spikes and his dewlap (the thing under his throat). I was kind of expecting him to smack the shit out of you with his tail when you reached for him, that stings! I used to walk mine around the neighborhood on a harness and leash. Unfortunately he 'mysteriously' died while we were on a family vacation and a neighbor was supposed to be feeding him
