Yes nothing beats a real lambo v12 scissor doors
-
My 700 roadster had the starting problems but parts were changed and fixed up. It is perfect now much smoother and more responsive on take off than SV which in addition to shudder has starting problems now where I have to press twice or a long time to start it... Don’t let them fool you all that is normal- that is a typical factory response to avoid even acknowledging problems- it isn’t and can and should be fixed by dealer!

Stick with original wheels

I had starting problems with both Av. Push button and wait a long time or push twice to start.. Annoyingly true
-
The problem with the av is the drivetrain or transmission , very clunky, shudders etc. strangely my lp700 roadster is much smoother to drive (and takes off without any shudder ) than my SV roadster that is simply not as smooth. Also there is more backfire or whatever you call it noise than the SV and both have sport sw for exhaust..

We should get on our knees and thank Lamborghini !

Lol. U r funny. I second that -always a pleasure when certain lovely female passengers show gratitude to Lambo by getting on their knees 😂 -
I hope they change to a DCT , can’t stand the current ISR and all the shudder associated with it... you are not alone in thinking that

Would you be disappointed if it’s only 760 hp.? I would. I just heard that and hope it is not true and closer to 800 hp or at least 780 hp -

let's get back to subject: I hope the SVJ comes with CF doors. If they banned the proper 3k twill CF on doors, I hope they use CF skin or leather instead of alcantara. Fortis and Teamsalamone can order Velvet from Ad personam lol -

I've never had suede and never will , nor will I have any alcantara. Prefer cf, carbon skin or leather for interior. I must be old fashioned lol -

Good informative video on alcantara! They sell it to us for a premium when in fact it is much cheaper than leather: 10-15% the cost of leather, what a rip off! -
CEO: Lamborghini's next supercars will be plug-in hybrids

I don't understand why Reggiani is against using turbo?! . Pagani does it and others (Porsche etc) successfully .. -

If I have to choose, I prefer suede to alcantara any time - at least it is natural not artificial. It is all subjective. For steering wheels, I find the carbon steering wheel with perforated leather handles to be the best. It feels much better than alcantara. A good place to supply it is Singapore's Robson design. -

Haha : Velvet, velour, alcantara etc .. you know I can't stand touching that cheap material. That is why I make sure the factory removes it and puts either leather, 'carbon skin' or CF and they are kind enough to do it -for a price lol. Their Ad Personam director is great! -

Whatever material is on that door in pic doesn’t look good and I hope it’s not in final product -

I hate Alcantara it’s so cheap and feels terrible, harder to clean, compared to leather or CF. How convenient for cost cutting and sell it to us as weight saving ! Lol They can at least use CF ‘skin’ if they aren’t going to use CF or leather -

I love the carbon finish of the Pagani cars and the weave is amazing if only Lambo would do that -

You are right! Proper CF products can be made in any shape or form , they are just more costly and time consuming to make. Much more classy, This is a cheap and quick plastic way marketed as forged whatever... I hate plastic finishes on Lambo cars and always change them to proper carbon , aluminium or chrome. -

I can't order yet here but would only be interested in the roadster version whenever it is announced. Prefer to see it first. I understand you can't officially order it yet until launch ... But I hear some dealers are taking money upfront as some kind of deposit for a future order or collecting names of potential customers, whatever they do... -

yes It is just resin with chopped up carbon fabric . Too plasticy for me and costs them same as plastic. Much prefer proper 3k or 6k twill prepreg real carbon which is more expensive to make
