To be honest Ferrari lead the way in transmissions... and the new 458 is in a differant league...

After seeing the California in the metal I have to say I did actually like it.. but overall still prefer the 430 spider which to me is probably the best all round ferrari I have ever driven.. simply drives better than anything else... can't wait to test drive the 458 now...

awesome car and amazing to generate so much power from just 3.8 litre naturally aspirated engine.... looks like another winner from porsche which looks like dominating its class once again...

The guy driving the LP670 was Hammond who is not exactly the best driver in the world.... against the stig in the 722... I'm sure if the drivers were evenly matched the LP would of at least taken the 722 off the line... same goes for the other race between veyron and F1... Hammond gave the F1 about 6-7 car lenghths before the veyron got into its stride and ultimateley beat the F1 convincingly at the end...

Seems like shu was the stig just for this episode as ferrari would only let shu drive this car on top gear.... as always topgear milked his presence and made some good drama...

Good result for Lambo... to hit 207mph on that small straight where the mighty Koeniggsegg had previously held the record with a 190mph... and to equal the CGT on the track which is supposed to be one of the best track cars of all the Hypercars!! is simply amazing considering the extra bulk the car is carrying... Clarkson said it was good value for money considering the other Hypercars cost double.. he also mentioned that ferraris were always supercars and Lambos were the first original hypercars and still are....
