LOL at the Z R 1 edit above. That is actually his most used car. You can put stuff in it, its faster than anything else in his garage and better for the track days he does in the summer. You guys can't deny that is an awesome performing car at 1/4 the cost of a Murci.

Dont know really. He's just a real nice person!. He let me drive it over there back in October as well. He Has 4 other cars he can choose from driving whenever he wants all summer long (TT V12 sl600, Ford GT, 09 Plastic mess-R1, and 92 NSX) He seems to enjoy it when other people can enjoy his cars. he likes to show them off. He let another friend of mine, who he didn't even know at the time take the Murci for a spin. I've driven his cars many times, which im thankful for. As a way of saying thanks for driving them i always bring the car back with a full tank (even though half the time i pick them up the tank is empty!) and keep them fully detailed through the summer, and do his oil changes for him on everything but the lambo for free.

I know of this one and another friend of mine with a white gallardo that are in gr. I have heard there are a couple in the Holland area as well.

I got to enjoy a friends LP640 Murcielago Roadster on new years eve here in Michigan as well! No snow, but not typical lambo driving weather either. Drove it from the dealer in Troy back to its home in Grand Rapids. It was a blast even though it rained pretty heavily almost all the way home. Here are some pics he snapped following me home. The car is going to need one hell of a detail in the spring!

Trip went great! rained the whole way back and got a little wet inside. I was actually surprised the top didn't leak more than it did! After we picked up the car, we made stops at the Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Spyker, Maserati, and Bentley dealers since they are all next to each other. we also stopped in at Cauley Ferrari which was about 15min away. Here are some pics. Awesome way to say goodbye to 2010!

Roads are in good condition. it was near 50* with rain all day yesterday. i drove my Black DD around last night and there was almos 0 salt residue left over. so roads are pretty clean right now. Its supposed to be about 50* again today. we will probably run into rain again though. there is nothing but green grass here and i talked to the dealer in Troy and he said there is no snow there either. If it were going to be icy and snow covered roads we wouldn't even think of doing this. we just got lucky and have a good day at the end of december to do it! Im walking out the door now. i'll post pics later tonight or something.

Looks like we're going over to pick it up and drive it back tomorrow. Supposed to be 46* its raining today so salt should be washed off the roads for the most part, and its supposed to rain tomorrow as well I think. It's a 2.5 hr drive so the car is gonna be a mess when we get back!

Anybody know a number for corporate that he could call and ask some questions?

a friend and I drove our other friends 08 Murci from Grand Rapids, MI to the dealer in Troy, MI a couple months back for the gas tank recall and a few others, along with some minor warranty work since the warranty expires next month. and i must say that's the most fun i have ever had with my cloths on! what a memory! But anyway, The car will be done this week and ready to come home. But now there is salt and snow on the ground, not to mention its only 20* out! (car is a roadster) Does Lamborghini give an allowance for shipping when a recall is performed? i have heard Ferrari/Maserati does so we're hoping Lamborghini would too. We have asked the service writer at the dealer about this, but he knows nothing about it. but have heard through a different dealer that they do. so i don't know who to believe. if so how do i get in contact with the right person who can direct me forward with getting it done? hopefully someone here has experience with this. Thanks!
