1. I personally believe based on several factors that it’s two shooters. 2. It COULD be some VERY fcuking weird echoes. After all this is a one off event in one of the weirdest acoustical landscapes ever created (there’s a fcuking pyramid next door). 3. Based on the sounds and wave form analysis of the particular video I posted, we do not believe that him changing direction (whether it be turning back towards the hallway or even a slight shift of the the barrel s few degrees) because of the timing implications. For him to move the gun that drastically that fast would require him to be the Flash. Also, if we believe that the gun being fired has a “bump stock” which requires a balancing act between the shoulder and trigger finger to maintain “automatic fire” even the slightest movements SHOULD result in a pause in the gunfire to rebalance. That doesn’t happen. 4. A slight shif of the muzzle from inside to outside the window, Is a possible explanation but based on 3 above and the “sniper perches”/tripods used, also very unlikely. 5. Shooting from one window versus the other would certainly explain the noise difference. But. Considering that the two windows were in seperate rooms and about 5-10 yards apart, but there was NO BREAK in the shots fired, that necessitates a second shooter. 6. Could a “Metanalysis” of ALL the video evidence be compiled? Sure. Would it answer the questions posed? No way to know. We do t know how many videos overlap or if there are even enough videos to create a single complete replay of the entire event. So we can’t know what such an analysis would reveal unless it’s done.

Not exactly sure about the question. But if it’s about the noise being different if the bullets were hitting people instead of asphalt, it doesn’t really matter. The bullets used (5.56 and possibly 7.62) will pass right through soft human tissue at the distances involved. They will then continue on the same trajectory (45 degrees down) and strike the asphalt unabated making the high frequency impact sounds. If instead the bullet hits bone, there will be a similar high frequency impact noise.

I’ve had at least three “educated ears” say the shots sound like they are ground level. But there’s zero other evidence of that. Anybody in the crowd shooting would have been seen by dozens or hundreds of witnesses. There would be she’ll casings. None of that exists. I somewhat wonder about a second shooter on an elevated location where there wouldn’t be seen. Maybe a parking garage. Maybe the person who was to bring the car and the unused fifty pounds of tannerite into play? Maybe the security guard causes paddock to go earlier than anticipated? The accomplice says “shit!!!” Fires off 18 rounds and melts away? But again. Where’s the brass? Does he police it? If he’s in the suite how the hell does he get away unseen? Seems impossible given what we know. Lots of questions. No good answers.

You wouldn’t believe the amount of analysis ive seen done on that audio in the last 20 hours. It is probably the most analyzed hunk of footage since zapruder. I have wallpapered the world with it. And you all know what an odd group of friends I have. Bottom line. Jury is out. Most agree it’s indicitive of two shooters. The wave form initially points to two guns/ positions. If you take it further and look at it in a wave form you can actually SEE the two desperate sound signatures. The problem is the two literally seem to be firing in sync. Which is nearly impossible. No two automatic guns will be that close in cadence and timing. But. That means it’s one gun that suddenly shifts position dramatically (at 400 yards the sound spreads out like a cone away from the barrel. Slight variations in the direction he’s aiming won’t have that kind of major accoustic change that you hear. Plus theres no transition. It doesn’t “Doppler”. It just flips like a switch. Like a trigger. It’s not likely he’s be able to move fast enough at that rate of fire to cause the change that instantly. I’ll admit there’s probably no place in the world better suited to a “weird echo” that that particular corner of Las Vegas. Mandalay Bay. Delano. Luxor. Excalibur. MGM. Tropicana. Nyny. All right there. And all weird shaped. But that does NOT sound like an echo that I’ve ever heard. And I’ve shot a ton of rifles. Been shot at by a ton of rifles. Have been on every side of a range. And never heard anything like that. Having said all that. Pinnpointing where exactly those two sets of shots are coming from is impossible given the limitations of the recording equipment and circumstances.
