Hey Lotus Mike, I am clueless when it comes to tuning and well mechanics in general. So, you have any suggestions for tuning a SLK55 AMG? I dont want to go all crazy, but perhaps wll like to get to 400-425 bhp. As of now I have 360 horsies. Warranty will run out in 2 yrs and plan to keep it-

wow thanks guys for your valuable feedback. In just a few responses from you I have gotten some really helpful info. All seems to have happened so fast that controlling a car at these speeds becomes almost "instinctual(?) " but certainly I am understanding what happened better after your responses. Very cool Lambopower people are good people

Hi intense, care to explained? I am interested in knowing what this sort of accidents happened. Perhaps I could learn to avoid them. I am considering in learning how to track a car and might head to AMG course in Germany for a couple of days. It would be my first experience on a track and it all will start with a basic intro course. I am looking forward to it. I own a SLK55 AMG and would like to learn more about handling. cheers

Thanks for the replay MasterShake. It just seems strange a car like this one could loose so much control at that elevation considering the cars in front of him kept moving right along...
