  1. I got a slushbox Cayman (non S) as a loaned from my dealer. His exact words,"wring it out and don't be afraid to let some of your friends do the same". I did. I threw it into an onramp with a friend onboard and he nearly shit himself. He expected to end up off the road. (he has tracked with me before and is not a weenie) The Cayman took the turn with no drame whatsoever. I am seriously thinking of getting a Cayman S next year as a daily driver /sometimes track car. Something that I can drive the piss out of at the track with little fear if I go into the weeds. Also prob the only one of my cars that I would let wifey drive.
  2. I think it's called Viper Green. Of the 229 RSs coming into the US maybe 20-30 will be Viper Green. Others will be screaming oarnge with black wheels and graphics, black with oarnge wheels and graphice, and GT Silver with oarnge wheels and graphics. Most will be oarngewith the black. Placed the order in October, got it just last week.
  3. I would love to have an RSR. I'll settle for this one though. Brought her home last Wednesday. Only 229 coming to the US. I think this is one of the first ten or so. I never did follow up on buying the Gallardo that I was lusting for. Getting one of the first 997TTs and now one of the first GT3 RSs will keep me happy.....for now.
  4. Here's a jet in slo mo. You can see the shock wave develope as the jet approaches the barrier. http://home.pacbell.net/ok3/f-14flyby.mpe And another jet flight. http://netlabs.net/~oneliner/F-14.wmv
  5. Hmmmmm.......The wine I had at dinner tonight was..........Fat Bastard Chard. Got a few bottles for guests tomorrow too.
  6. I like the hatch, no agony here. No spyder though, I have the SL for the drop top stuff.
  7. The standard hatch does look meaner, and the glass hatch looks better on the SE. As far as weight goes....the glass hatch weighs a minimum of $4000.00 more than the standard hatch.
  8. I think it fits better on the SE. Standard cover=clean the outside, clear cover=clean both sides of cover+detail engine. Does anybody have experience with having a Gallardo built to order? Time from order to delivery?
  9. Any cleaning issues. Will I need to spend more time on engine detailing with a clear cover? Will the glass fog up inside from out gassing in the engine compartment?
