  1. Personally nothing makes me drive more safety cautiosly and 100% within all speedlimits no matter how illogical than taking my kid (6 year old) to the beach in the lambo. In our other car with back seats the youngest naturally sits in a backward facing child seat. So much safer than forward facing - just check the stats! But they dont make them for larger kids. There's unfortunatley no isofix in my aventador, but I do believe that he's pretty safe when I drive defensively, cautiously and he sits in a Cybex Solution X-Fix child seat within the aventador monococoque. Biggest problem imho is explaining in a healthy way, why we drive a racing car (as he calls it) while most other people drive something not as cool (seen from a 6 yo point of view). And especially dealing with the whole thing about always having people approach us when we park, with everything from genuine posive interest to really negative remarks. This always brings up the topic of: "just because you have a car that almost everybody else envies, doesnt make you a better person" etc.. - so yes there is the safety concern (and I think its close to zero compared to most other cars) - but there are definitely some large philosophical questions on how you want to raise your kids that needs to be thought through before you decide to expose them to the reality of being seen as a (son of a) lambo driver. Personally we've had the talks and they've been great - and for some reason he always want to hear AC/DC when we drive (which is also pretty much the only kind of music that the speakers in the lambo can be used for) - so for us its great thing. as always - YMMV
  2. We also need some interior pictures.... (long live the Autobahn)
  3. And the third interesting thing is to watch the tirepressure alerts. If their indications are to be taken at face value, then he starts off with too low pressure (according to the sensors at least) and then reaches an acceptable pressure (i.e. they are getting warm) around Steilstrecke (approx at 3:50 into the lap). And finally they start to lose pressure (aka temperatue) at Döttinger Höhe (around 6:20 into the lap).
  4. Hi, Does anyone know what the fastest Aventador lap time on Spa is? Thnx
  5. Yup - probably right. Have not seen the warning lights after switching from winter to summer tires, even if I'm driving a little harder. Still find it strange that its not in the instruction book. lala
  6. Hi, Under full acceleration my Aventador Coupe 2013 often displays an odd warning on the right hand side of the instrument panel. It typically appears at 270 km/h to 310 km/h and diasppears as soon as I lift my foot at little. I've checked the instruction manual and cannot find the warning described. It is yellow and in the middle it is a frontal picture of the car and then sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right and sometimes on both sides there is an icon that looks a bit like the cold temperature icon (the one that appears on the left when its getting close to freezing outside) Any idea of what it is? Thanks
  7. Agree 100% - thats also what I ended up doing.
  8. Lamborghini confirms: only 19/20" Winter tires for Aventador. Life is so unfair... (Just like she said yesterday: I am whole inch away from happiness) *G*
  9. 20/21" - needs to be good for 300 km/h (there is not snow all the time) & approved by the factory so I dont run into any problems with the guarantee
  10. Hi, Getting cold - so need to put on winter tires on my Coupe. But I am being told that Pirelli does not produce winter tires for the Dione rims? Is that really correct? Thank you!
