* First Countach toy that is... My father bought one just like this for me when I was very very young, after I spotted it in a Radioshack. Its the very first thing I remember that sparked my love of cars. I had it for years but like most toys, It got gone. About 10 years ago I started searching for one. I posted on forums, I searched every page of every raidoshack catalog made from the early 70's on, I scoured ebay and google with every combo of search words I could think of. COUNTLESS hours looking for this thing. Anyway, I finally found one on ebay and basically told the guy I would pay any amount of money for it. He appreciated my story and it was mine. Its a weird toy- you put the shaped disc on the rotating shaft. the pin rests on the outer edge of the disc and moved back in forth based on the shape as it turns, this is connected to the front wheels. Pictured is the disc that keeps the wheels straight. Anyone ever seen anything like this?
