Wtf u just said u were going to upgrade it

Motec isn't going to do for the e-gear what I want to make the power I want to make. It's got to be 6 speed. For most guys this is WAY more than enough power. For me.....it's not.

$151,000?

:) j/k

How many miles on the twin turbo setup?

About 400 miles on the TT set up.

Why not just change the tranny to a six speed?? With all the money invested and potential for a significant loss upon sale this seems a viable option. You could remove the e-gear system and install a shifter.

Were the dyno pulls done on an awd dyno?

I see you show hp as awhp, but want to be sure.

Thx!

What kind of new numbers are you hoping to make on a 6 speed?!?!

you should trade cars with allan. You'll get your 6 speed, and he'll get e-gear for cali traffic.

Not a bad Idea!

That actually does make sense.

Except I HATE yellow. :P

You could get it repainted or wrapped? Seems like it would cost tons less than the loss you'll take with this....

The economy is going to dictate a loss one way or another and I already have a healthy credit on the books with Jason, so I'm not worried about it. I'd prefer to CHOOSE the exact car I want to mod next time around just like I chose this one. Will I take a loss, of course, but I don't think it's going to be catastrophic. :P If anyone is interested in buying it, please let me know.

Your car is ridiculous to say the least. If I wasnt married, I would sell my house and live in it. :icon_mrgreen:

Dumb Question here, does the e-gear and manual use the same gear box. If the gearbox is the same,

I'd try to find someone with an 04-05 e-gear car that wants to upgrade, if the 06 parts fit. Sell the e-gear

parts and then convert your car to manual. Would seem cheaper then selling the car in this market.

Pretty incredible expense

yeah I'm sure it would be, my question was, does it require a gearbox change, if it does its out of the question,

If its just the shifter parts maybe, on the other hand these cars aren't ford mustang's so even just changing

the shifter's might not make sense because of cost.

I guess it depends on how much someone wants it. I'll shop it for a bit. If nobody bites, I'll b forced to convert it. The car performs beautifully at the power it's at. I just would like something more.

Yes your car is beautiful it has the best 2 color interior I seen on a lambo. On the parts I was wondering if you

could find a G-car owner that planned on keeping his car for a long time. Split the cost on the conversion

with him and let him have all the e-gear parts, It would be worth it to have the parts, if you were going to keep a G-car long term. If I owned a E-gear Gallardo I'd do it in a heart-beat it would be alot cheaper then buying the parts from the factory. And if you did sell the car you could always sell the parts by themselves.

Labor costs would seem to be the majority of the expense. Unless I'm totally missing something it seems you would need to remove the actuators and associated hydraulics; then have the shifter & linkage installed. Again not having any diagrams as a reference I don't see why it would be a difficult swap. Now getting the dashboard to sync with the shifter might be a PITA.

These seem to be the most important elements you would need to look at in a conversion. Hope this helps you decide what you want to do.
