Asking about my mechancal experience with a Lambo?  I know more about Lambo's mechanical systems than probobly anyone on this board.  Not a real Lambo tech of coarse.  I did the clutch in his car, the valve cover gaskets which decided to leak with only 6000 miles on the car (this requires to reomve the entire fuel injection system and intake manifold), and all minor maintanence on the car.  All without even a service manual.

I'll take that challendge. Youve worked on one Diablo and now your an expert. I better warnthe boss man theres a new kid in town. You know its fine to have an opinion about different cars, but when you make a stuip ass statement like the one above, that just shows your ignorance.

I wrote "probobly" anyone on this board. I have NO problem backing down to you if you know more than me (which you do), and I do "probobly" know more about Lambo's mechanical system than most guys here. What's the percentage of Diablo owners on this board that have taken the car apart and back together as far as I have? There's no need for a successful individual who owns a Lambo to get their hands dirty and work on their cars. I'm sure most have othe rimportant things to do than maintain their cars. If you're an ameatur garage mechanic, and you are smart enough to do it yourself and have the balls to work on it I'd be very impressed!! I was very carefull to pick my words for that statement. I got a lot of grief for people misreading. No a problem.

As far as the "opinion about different cars" statement, I actually like Lambo's more than Ferrari's if I had to pick one, and I was never opinionated in my entire post. I simply asked the question that's in my title and the guys were kind enough to correct a few misconceptions I had about the performance numbers of both cars.

Thanks Man, I appreciate the kind words. I listen way more then I will ever post on this site because there is ALOT i can learn from the guys around here and I look up to alot of the members of this site.  Many of the guys on here have earned my respect with what they have accomplished and how they carry themselves when approached about their success. I am completely out of my league on this site and will openly admit that, but there are some great people around here and I have learned alot about Lambos and life since I started reading and joined here in the Fall.

For being 22, I feel as though Im doing pretty well right now. I work as a contract specialist for the Department of Defense and am making pretty decent money for my age (not "Lambo" money though! haha).  As Im beginning to invest and working towards the end of my MBA program, hopefully that will change in the next few years.  ;)  By the time I am ready to buy a Lambo, you had better believe I will have consulted MANY of the friendly guys on this site for advice on the purchase!

Tell Nate when you talk to him that you know Mike G. with the red LS1 Trans Am from Island (his old paintball buddy), him and I go way back.

Keep the fire burning hot so we can hang with these boys sooner before later. :)
