Allan-Herbie Report post Posted October 9, 2009 Had an idea... how about a Diablo SV style decklid for our GTT's that would be functional in sending more air to the engine compartment vs that stupid non functional Hamman roof scoop? Any ideas?

kane00 Report post Posted October 9, 2009 You have far too much time on your hands. First, it will look dumb. Second, to make it work you will need to develop an entire intake tray like the Jota. Third, you will lose all rear vision making the car even less drivable than it is now. Sell it and buy an SLR. Its the only car you've been really happy with. anon Report post Posted October 9, 2009 Third, you will lose all rear vision making the car even less drivable than it is now. Don't you have to actually drive the car for that to be a factor?

Turbo50Mike Report post Posted October 9, 2009 What are you trying to accomplish with the scoops? 'Ram air' intakes for the turbos, or venting to help keep the engine cool? Because on the G, the radiators are in the front bumper, and the oil/trans coolers are on the side....Not sure those scoops could be made to help any of those. jbrowning Report post Posted October 9, 2009 This ok? Allan haven't seen a side view of your car in awhile. Looks great brother!
dragvorl Report post Posted October 9, 2009 Don't you have to actually drive the car for that to be a factor? Yep, the faster you go, the more air it rams into the intakes.
