saxguy Report post Posted May 10, 2011 With the mega-hp cars everyone on this forum is driving I was wondering what types of radar/laser jammer setups are being used. I am thinking of going with the Escort 9500ci and maybe a set of blinder M27s in the front grille when I finally get my car. Has anyone successfully used a laser jammer in the grill without cutting apertures for them?

GBGallardo Report post Posted May 11, 2011 I have the Passport 8500 and Valentine V1 as my radar and Laser Interceptor as my jammers. Currently I am running one head front and rear, but soon adding two more.

GBGallardo Report post Posted May 11, 2011 can you post some pics of the jammer install locations? Here's the rear installation...you can see it is meshed into the grille along with the back up camera. They both sit flush and you can hardly notice them in person, this pic was under hard light. I don't have a pic of the front installation, but this is where it's mounted. Right on top of the center air duct on the 560 bumper. I'll grab some more pics for you if you'd like once it gets back from UGR. The installation looks very clean overall and even with just one head front and rear the coverage has been great. The on/off switch was mounted in the small 'glovebox' to the left of the steering column.
