David@SPE Report post Posted October 30, 2013 http://www.sp-power.com/2013/10/spe_revozport_mclaren_mp4/ It's about time we take a full look at the SPE x RevoZport McLaren MP4. Over the last couple of months, we've been throwing out a handful of random snaps of our MP4 equipped with RevoZport's body parts. We've finally finished the final touches of the car and feel 100% satisfied with the outcome of everything through trial and error. In the very beginning, we teamed up with RevoZport to come up with what is now they're OE Style and RHZ line. The first order of business was the RHZ front bumper. Everything was made in-house at RevoZport's facility in Hong Kong and sent to us for test fit. Here lies a lot of problems with retail customers. The word aftermarket does NOT mean a perfect factory OEM fit product. There will be imperfections no matter how cheap or how expensive the parts. Which is why it is best that you take your vehicle to a body shop that knows how to handle these types of situation. We took our MP4 to a well trusted body shop and left the stress in the air to bring down the annoying gnats flying around. Viewers discretion is advice for the next 4 photos. What is he doing? Is that a power tool? Tell him to stop! Oh God. What has he done... Yes, this was actually quite scary but felt so badass doing. Drilling holes to the underside of the MP4 door to insert rivet nuts for the RHZ carbon fiber side skirts. If I'm not mistaken, the tech who was in charge of this task was dripping in sweat as if he had just finished running a marathon. Measurements and equal spacing of the rivet nuts were done with a simple ruler and pencil with blue masking tape. Next is the CF OE style rear diffuser. RevoZport also offers their RHZ rear diffuser which is pretty wild and $400 more. Super worth it if you're a wild one. The last noticeable piece we designed with RevoZport is the RHZ air brake. Both the CF air brake and rear diffuser sets the rear of the MP4 off quite exquisitely. Wouldn't you agree? Although this exhaust is irrelevant to RevoZport, as a viewer, we thought you guys might enjoy this full titanium piece made by TiTek Innovations. We hope you guys enjoy and please don't hesitate to ask for pricing. Feel free to contact Eugene ([email protected]) or Alex ([email protected]) regarding all RevoZport items. - SP
