Hydropaint Transfer!

I thought the same! You see a little that they dry it or cook it but it's just crazy that a sheet of paper of some sort in water can transfer so uniformly onto a hard surface without smearing?

The possibilities are endless.

This technology would be fun with Easter Egg dyeing with kids.

That's some crazy stuff. How durable is it I wonder?

Like most finishes, not that durable. It needs a clear coat to protect it. This stuff has been around for years. Used extensively for camo coatings on guns and accessories. Would make for a great Halloween costume.

I have this stuff on a few of my mountain bike frames. Looks great, but it does tend to flake if I knock or scratch it on something. Probably would fare better with a clear coat on top.
