ToofDoc Report post Posted February 19, 2015 noo, I meant fourth in order from center. Only one missing Sounds like a premolar. Implant would be great if you have enought bone. Check with your dentist to see if you have enough bone height to place an implant to replace the missing tooth. A 3-unit bridge would be a good alternative too. ToofDoc Report post Posted February 19, 2015 So you're saying I just have to go outside in the summer?? How much would a new bridge cost these days with insurance? Kind of a PIA as I would then have to go in/get the mold done, come back, put new bridge in, and get whitened. Sounds like you have a 4-unit bridge. So many types of dental insurance out there. A common dental insurance policy will cover a portion to a 4-unit bridge and look tonpay around $2500-3000 out of pocket. A 4-unit bridge cost around $4000+ without insurance. To whiten your smile, you will need to buy a new bridge. Patient in your case, I recommend whitening your natural teeth first (zoom), then match your new bridge porcelain shade to your whitened natural teeth. Never get a brighter bridge then try to get your natural teeth to match your new bridge. Your teeth may not be able to achieve the whiteness of the new bridge. BigBadLambo Report post Posted February 22, 2015 My wife had a bunch of work done over a long period of time. Needless to say when it was all said and done 8 implants, impacted tooth and then EVERYTHING crowned. There was only one 3 tooth bridge. Shit was expensive to say the least but it looks good. Dental insurance is just about worthless when it comes to stuff like this.
