Earlycat Report post Posted February 7, 2016 The low mileage 89 cars are high, but 700k is crazy. That was the good buddy discount.
Jalpa_Mike Report post Posted February 7, 2016 Ted is a funny guy. I met him back in 1988 and bought a 1980 Maserati 4Porte from him. A few years later I bought a '74 Mercedes 450SL from him as well as an '85 Maserati Biturbo and a Jaguar XJ-6. He is quite the character. He is an ex-Boxer and has made several movies over the years. Check out IMdB for such gems as "Scarecrows" and "Hammerhead Jones". Mike

Ohlgren Report post Posted February 17, 2016 Am I in the minority of hating most of the current car shows? When I do watch the shows, it is usually because an exotic is on it. I usually cringe at the idiots dealing with them. So many of the builds and restorations they show are terrible. Not the kind of inspiration I wish was on TV. I hope that show posted was fake. The idiot in that show is the last person I would want to buy a Lamborghini from. Reminds me of the housing bubble when the airwaves were packed with "flip this house" shows. islandguy Report post Posted February 23, 2016 All made for TV reality TV, sometimes fun to watch, but gets old fast. The seller seems like a stand-up guy. Did he say that the original tires are worth $4K ea?
