JP66 Report post Posted March 21, 2016 Does anyone here scuba dive? I have been an avid diver for several years, but just recently started at getting into underwater photography. I have just been using GoPro's until last year. Wondering where you have been in the past and where did you like going. If anyone shoots underwater, what do you use, etc. I have been to Hawaii, Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Puget Sound, St. John, St. Thomas, Aruba, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, etc... In 4 weeks I will be going on a liveaboard in Australia and will be diving the Great Barrier Reef. I use Sony and Nauticam rig. Here is a "keeper" I shot in Maui this past December.... kinnsella Report post Posted March 21, 2016 I am a DM. Been diving for 22 years. Palau, Pohnpei, Truk, Soloman or Cook Islands if you want to step it up. Cozumel is my favourite in Central America. Belize used to be better, further south is better toward Placentia. Utila isn't bad in Honduras. Cocos islands, CR. Ceynotes near Tulum are interesting especially http://www.cenoteangelita.com/photos.htm. Like diving in Morodor. I shoot under water and use a Nikon d300. Destructo Report post Posted March 24, 2016 I was certified years ago and loved it. I didn't appreciate photography until later, and now don't do both but have a high affinity for them. I had a little accident, screwed up my ears and almost wound up in a hyperbaric chamber from a dive in Grand Cayman in 97. Have not dove since.
