lambo128 Report post Posted October 19, 2016 Every holiday season I give away motorized wheelchairs to the handicapped for free. This year I have over 75 units that are ready to go. If you know of anyone that desperately needs one and is within driving distance of Connecticut (I have to see them in person to fit the chair to their needs), PM me and I'll do the best to hook them up. There is absolutely no charge for these, they are on my dime

ibglobal Report post Posted October 20, 2016 That's great-- the gift of mobility is priceless. How do you manage to get so many? Do people just donate them to you?

lambo128 Report post Posted October 20, 2016 That's great-- the gift of mobility is priceless. How do you manage to get so many? Do people just donate them to you? I've been doing it for so long it's kind of known throughout the state that I'm the go to guy for these.i have helpers drive all over the state to pick them up. I buy all the batteries and refurbish them myself, plus take out radio,tv & newspaper adds promoting it. There is no one in the US doing the same
