Smash Boy Report post Posted April 21, 2017 So if your a average guy and you hit on some chick hoping to maybe get some action, it is OK and normal . But if you are rich and famous and you do that you are sexually harassing her and will get your reputation ruined lose your job and get sued. there is a big advantage to not being famous and not letting people know your financial situation. Well, an average Joe usually won't get sued for his actions but discipline/termination is always a possibility depending on the interaction between man/woman, and the company itself. IMHO, O'Reilly probably was pushing the boundaries and not merely just hitting on these women.
Pretzel_Guy Report post Posted April 21, 2017 The only difference i see is the position of power and authority. If the girls work for/under you, then it's absolutely unacceptable. ^^^^This.^^^^

The stories that are being told show inappropriate use of his power and influence to attempt to bed these women and then removing this help or using it against them when they refused. Slippery slope... a lot of people are attracted to power and will use attraction to their advantage. When I hire females I avoid the territory completely... but these days its almost stressful when you need to work one on one with them, sad actually that you need to feel that way.. seems like with all the PC an innuendo we are moving backwards... but then the grey area of where it is legit and where it is spite. Haha I worked for a woman who told me out of the blue she would f'k me if she wasn't married... was very awkward but as a guy you just let it roll off your shoulders
Andrew R. Report post Posted April 23, 2017 We'll do it LIVE!!! I have not, and would never react like this at work... but still, how many of us have felt like this when someone else didn't do their job? Who knows, maybe the prompter was messed up every day that week, and they were pushing him to his boiling point! Maybe some smartass there thought it would be funny to mess with him I have mixed feelings on the guy, but he sure had called it like it was more than a few times. #1 cable news show, hard to believe that they could not pull the reins back on him... but if he was toxic to the work environment as it sounds like he was, it was time for him to go.
