  1. Pretty sure those two things would throw a CEL.
  2. I have the exact same set up and find it quite subdued. Very livable. You want a drone, put straight pipes in there and take a trip. Just another example that when someone says what's the best exhaust, it's impossible to explain. Even that video isn't accurate to my ears.
  3. Not a mod guy, but those doors sills are beautiful. I might subconsciously have to damage mine.
  4. Ha. I hear that. It's impossible to know when the market will turn around. It's possible it won't. The next generation won't respect these cars like the present. Just think what will happen to 60-70 muscle cars as boomers get older and start selling.
  5. Just think that your most likely selling at the bottom of the market, what ever else you buy will drop like a rock or won't have the upside potential. Plus, you have one of the rare ones. Your car is the best of both worlds, new school enough to be reliable, but not so much that you can't work on it, and it's not a "push button" car. Besides, you don't even know what else you want. It sounds like your just a little restless, we all get that way. Keep it, and find some cheaper toy to see if it satisfies before you do it.
  6. Bye Bye as in your going to sell it?
  7. Brake switch failure is pretty common, no diagram needed for that, attached near the pedal, and wouldn't the rev counter be a computer thing?
  8. That's another thing the 98 has over the 99. The logo is much more sexy.
  9. Don't know why anybody would "Bid" on a car like this. If interested you call the seller and deal direct, get all the info you can. Forget the silly E-Bay game.
  10. For what it's worth, take your 599 and the Diablo to a gas station or any show. People will walk right by the 599 on their way to the Diablo. It's impossible to get more exotic. As far as performance? How much do you need for street use? Refinement/technology is what's making newer cars boring. It's not all about speed. Just a further comment, these newer cars are basically throw away's. The more technology, the harder they will be to keep running due to their proprietary nature.
  11. There's quite a bit of info on the plugs by searching. I just put in Denso IX27's all is good. As far as the flames? UGH!
  12. There's no telling. I wouldn't fall for the no reserve though. He'll yank it if it doesn't get allot higher than that. Unless it should be priced that low. It looks great though.
  13. If perfect $150-160K IMO. However Roy may disagree.
  14. No matter the car, he's living in 2007 on the price.
  15. Yeah, and just keep in mind even if you do buy at the bottom, it's unlikely your going to make money when you sell it. The goal should be to just keep the loss to a minimum.
  16. I understand the obsession to get it working, but is it mandatory? I just had one of my shocks rebuilt and am still too scared to use the damn thing.
  17. Also consider the cars he takes a beating on. I'm sure there are a few.
  18. On the "other forum" It was suggested to re-ground the sender wire to the tank and it fixed the problem for one owner.
  19. I have this one. http://www.sears.com/craftsman-professiona...mp;blockType=G1 But it'll still keep popping off. Just get the best one you can find. Cheap is no good for this job. You need to get it started, and then use needle nose pliers, and a screw driver, and just walk it around until it snaps back on. BTW, if you damage the ring you can get a new one from ACE hardware.
  20. How bout posting the instruction for all to see. Sounds like a valuable instruction. Heck Shamile didn't even tackle it. I'll bet most cars never get it changed even under the guises of "full fluid service"
  21. Not allot. I know that air can get in there. Checked the reservoir level? Also that there are upper and lower limit switches that could be intermittent. I believe they work in unison with the dash lights, so no light, no switch activation.
  22. I think allot depends on how high you jack a corner, if you just need to take a tire off, no problem, one corner. If you want to get under it, then use two jacks and progressively jack each side. However, as Shamile said, if you use the point in front of the rear tire it lifts the whole side off the ground, which I feel comfortable with since it's not a twisting force.
  23. Red dots are where I put them. No, don't need to jack front or rear independently.
