  1. Okay, but just keep in mind about the surface charge vs. real charge. Again, if it can't hold voltage you WILL have problems.
  2. 13.3 is a good place to start. When you start the car, you knock off the surface charge, BUT the voltage should not fall all the way to 11.9. That's a battery not holding a charge. A good battery should hang around 12.6-12.8 with nothing on it. In short, if you take off your battery tender, and let the battery sit for a couple of days to allow the surface charge to dissipate, the voltage should not fall much past 12.6. If it does It's bad. It sounds like the alternator is working if you measured 13.7, but should you have to rev the engine to get it there? I do not know why the disparity in gauge readings. The obvious is to check for corrosion or high resistance someplace.
  3. Wonderful. A rare gift. May your luck continue.
  4. Italiano Extraordinaire. Now who are those guys that own them now Wannabes!
  5. Guys this car has no distributor cap. A faulty coil shouldn't shut down the whole side of the engine either. My bet is still on the solenoid.
  6. Carter Motor, and 5000 RPM aside, if the car starts up and runs on one side it's those stupid solenoid valves that are tied to the alarm system resting above the fuel tank. One has probably failed. You can confirm by disconnecting the fuel lines to each of the fuel rails. You'd have fuel coming out of one, the other not. I think these are SV specific.
  7. I had some other stuff too so don't remember, but I do recall there is a spring in the column that had to be replaced. I wouldn't think it would be more than a minimum charge to do it.
  8. Maybe not stock exhaust, but the SV just sounds so much better. I don't think you could get a Ferrari to sound that way no matter what you put on it.
  9. Trip to the dealer. Did you adjust your column with the engine running? That is one thing that will set them off for sure.
  10. Beautiful! Sounds as it should. I would kill for those roads.
  11. As far as I know all Diablos have a positive battery junction block behind the driver about mid engine, so not a mod. Jumper cable to that and chassis ground for your jump start. Of course there is the chatter that it will fry your ECU, but I don't see how it could.
  12. I don't see any explanation on how to do this without taking a bath. Is it better to just drain the tank first.
  13. Yep, could just need recharging. Again, it can't be worn out.
  14. See what good advice your getting. Now LEAN on him to lower the price.
  15. Don't know about Canada, but Around $80-$85 would be more like it in the states. I for one love Queens. It' may need some updating, but at least you don't have to worry about what someone else did with that low of mileage. I'd be concerned about fluid's condition. The seller always has the upper hand with a low mileage car, but being neglected can be a good bargaining tool.
  16. I think any good brand would work. Castrol, Valvoline, I think I even put Pennzoil in mine last time. just so long as it's got the ratings.
  17. How silly is it that you can't post a link from another board. Aren't the forum wars over? Plain stupid. Anyway Mark Carney posted a set on the original L forum. I'm sure you've never heard of it, and this forum doesn't want you to know about it.
  18. On my roadster I had the shift gate chromed. It's looks way better and as it should, originally it was just dingy steel.
  19. Surely it is. If it looks the same, and fit's, what difference would there be? Same motors.
  20. Don't know, but I doubt it's Lamborghini specific, heck for that price it's worth a try.
  21. Your brake fluid reservoir is full? If it is a computer thing I'm not sure the OBII scanner can do it?
  22. That's messed up. Looks like the design team just gave up. Makes a good bug catcher though.
  23. Man those blunt cut off noses are the worst thing about the 6.0, and early Murcielago's. Just a bad design flaw. The SE has the most badass aggressive looking spoiler on any car followed by the SV.
