  1. Does anyone know if the Lambo factory used gear oil with Friction Modifiers in it for the rear differential of Diablos? RedLine does not recommend using Friction Modifiers for transaxels, isn't the rear diff of a Diablo considered a transaxel verses a limited slip differential?? Any opinions?
  2. Great follow up on fluids used! Cayleigh should be (20) now, can she come over and help me change my fluids ??? I just had one other question; did you use the RedLine 75W90 Gear Oil with Friction Additive for the Diff? RedLine makes it with (75W90) and without (75W90NS).
  3. Very clean installation! How do I get some info on those babies?
  4. Has anyone changed out the steering/lift system fluids before? I understand it is an ATF but what brand does anyone suggest or have had good luck with? I have a 99 Diablo Thanks, Drew
  5. They look good but what do they sound like is the real question?
  6. I have the wiring diagram for a 99 Diablo and I am looking for the turn signal/hazzard relay on the car. The wiring diagram identifies it as relay #94 ? All the fuse/relay boxes do not have numbers that high. Is it buried in the center consul under the Air Bag controller? This is the pulsed relay that senses the load and flashes faster if you have a burned out bulb. Any help would be appericated.
  7. BFGoodrich has that size in the g-Force for front and rear. Front: 235/35ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2XL Rear : 335/30ZR-18 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2 Good tread design and I have had no trouble with them at any speed. Just another option. I did the same search you are doing, good luck
  8. Bummer! I have a 99 Diablo and the exact same thing happened, I adjusted the steering wheel with everything off and then the AirBag light came on when I started it. I could not reset the light with the factory software (connects through the OBD II connector). I removed the steering wheel airbag and found the yellow wires from the slip ring had been pinched under the metal bracket in the steering wheel. Must have been that way from the factory and finally rubbed through the insulation which shorted the two wires together and to ground. I replaced the slip ring, with yellow wires, and still could not get the factory software to reset the airbag light. The yellow wires being shorted together and to ground must have damaged the airbag controller interface and you can no longer buy a new or used control module, they are not available any where. Let me know what you find, good luck.
  9. You must have been lucky to get it off with the big screwdriver trick. I have used pentrating oil, the wiggle trick, the big screw driver, and a small puller and can not get it to budge. I can't believe the torque spec is 30-35 Nm, that is a lot, not like American cars where the wiper arm just falls off by itself when you remove the nut or retainer clip. I ordered a special puller I will try when I receive it.
  10. I want to have my windshield wiper park further down on the windshield, maybe one more spline down. Do you have to use a puller to get the arm off the spline? I noticed in the manual the nut is torqued to 35Nm (26ft-lbs). Has anyone done this before, any suggestions? Short girls in the passanger seat always say all they can see is the wiper blade in front of them, I guess I need to find taller girls!
  11. Found the problem, there was a crack in the metal flange of the coolant cap. I have never seen a coolant cap split like that before. That explains why it was puking coolant out the overflow tube. Thanks for the suggestions all, like I|Toro said, look at the basics. Case Closed.
  12. I ran across this while I was working in Abu Dhabi, never did see the driver/owner??
