  1. a-faz, I understand and agree with you but there's still lots of valuable and interesting information to be gleaned from what I'm doing. I have allready found some very interesting stuff. I should have the finnal count by tomorrow night. I think (I'm sure) I have come up with a way you/we can do this without revealing anybodys vin. More later. Bed now.
  2. Dan, I now have all the missing #'s from the original list. I know yours is there. If you say you were not in the original list lets run a test to see how accurate we are. PM me 1 (yes just 1) digit from your vin. I need the very last number/digit. I will then PM you back a VERY, VERY short list of VIN's which WILL (should ) contain your car's #. Then tell me if it is in fact there. Dave
  3. OK. Maybe we have a better meeting of the minds. While a public forum I respect your decision to wipe the previous thread as you have the right to police it as you see fit. After all you also all work for free! I still have all the 6.0 vin #’s and I WILL be running ALL of them through carfax. For the time being I will be keeping all that info to myself. There is still useful, non-threatening, statistical information to be gleaned from this without revealing anybodies individual vin # . For example this will end the mystery as to exactly how many 6.0's were ever registered in the U.S. There are a bunch of other statistics which would prove interesting for example the # of cars with salvage titles, a complete list of miles last recorded for each car, # of owners per car, # of cars with possible milage discrepancies and more.
  4. If I have offered anyone, I apologize.
  5. If we all keep it up abolfaz's car will be the last 6.0 under 10,000 miles. The SV has 25,500 miles You won't be able to give that thing away. But if you do let me know.
  6. Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh Seat belt track!?!?!??!? You have the right car!??!??!?!?!??
  7. Itsn't it obvious from the pictures that the wrong tires are on the rear rims as well?
  8. Some strong prices. More then the average 6.0
  9. albofz, I didn't know you owned a kit!?!?! Shouldn't that Fiero muffler be underneath the car?
  10. Beach Yep read it! That's great news. I have 1 front on the 6.0 which is wet but not outright leaking. I'll go for the rebulit on this when/ if / it goes.
  11. The last time I needed one they were about $1,800. Now that you mention it I think I remember that there was a price increase. The guy who rebuilds them ought to be doing a good business.
  12. gday I just re-read his original question and you are correct. Mr. Hyde The link below should answer all your questions about it automaticly dropping after it rising. http://www.lamboweb.com/Repairs_Section/Di...ting_System.htm
  13. Even though there is no leak there can be a fault with one of the electronic boards inside a shock. This is unfortunatly a common problem. The only fix is to replace the $1,800 shock. You can not replace the board inside the shock. The basic sytem beyond the shocks are quite sturdy and rather fool proof.
  14. I've seen 2-3 year old cars that (to me) look show room new yet I've seen people tear them apart for some hair found buried in the seat.
  15. I know someone who was looking a few months back. PM me a price and I'll see if he still needs them.
  16. The can under the front wheel to keep it from rolling?
  17. Here's 2 from a photo shoot for a magazine a few years back. First is corner of bedroom second is library.
  18. "I think the car has A/C, but it needs recharged...I'll have to look again to see if there's a compressor." !?!?!?!?!?!!? The blind leading the blind.
  19. Found the problem. It was my browser. For some reason netscape will not upload but Explorer will. Sorry for all this. Dave
