  1. I'm not so sure. My CT has 2,800 miles and needed a recomissioning service. I sent it to Valentino. Interesting about this new factory venture, why aren't they involving VB? I hope the venture works out but I suspect they have literally nobody who has the knowledge of all these period cars
  2. Thanks. I meant how many manual gen 1 SL produced / remaining worldwide
  3. Interesting topic. I've just bought the arancio borealis manual SL, was a factory press car DG 191 JW as used in Top Gear. I used to own it previously back in 2008 when it stopped being a press car but then sold it. Now I have it back! It is absolutely standard apart from the small being having been replaced by the optional larger fixed wing, which I prefer. I wonder how many were produced and are left worldwide?

I've had the same experience. You put your name down, that seems to about all at this stage. A Porsche guy at Geneva last week hinted to me that they are still not sure of the design.
  5. To be clear, I didn't switch out of my LP700 because I thought Lamborghini didn't deliver. I think the LP700 is stunning; it's less about a wild new visual makeover - although it looks great in the flesh, much much more impact than the words "refreshed Murci" can really convey. No, in my mind the new car will be about a radically different driving experience compared to the Murci. A light, stiff carbon chassis and uncompromised suspension layout, as well as that whipcrack gear shift (the SV's shift was a lazy old thing really) and 700bhp. I'm getting a GTO because it opens up other possibilities for me right now that I cannot really resist (and of course, the GTO is also pretty special!)
  6. I'm not going ahead with my order as I've just ordered a GTO. I've got the first customer car at my dealership, currently specc'ed in matt white with black shiny wheels, black calipers, black leather/alcantara interior, carbon engine t-bar, and most of the options. I believe it is still spec changeable too. But I guess you don't want a Swiss car!
  7. That pic looks like one of the paint finish checking stations in the new CFRP facility behind the factory.
  8. Albert, is this confirmed? Which countries? My order is the first at my dealership, but they STILL don't know the date. There's a lot said on the internet, but is it confirmed by the factory?
  9. Ok, after Webster confirmed to me his order for black leather/black alcantara was accepted, my dealer spoke personally to Andrea Ruggiero at the factory who said, quote, it is impossible for a customer to have had that interior confirmed. That was a couple of days ago. Then I got a call today saying Lamborghini are now going to do it. But still no information on delivery dates
  10. Mine will be my dealer's first customer car, so hope for June. Matt white with black wheels
  11. Sounds like a great spec, good on you! Thanks for the heads up, I will ask my dealer what's going on. Both of us wanted black leather with black alcantara, but he said the factory said no. Maybe that's changed now, hope so!
  12. The Singen price looks 50-70 eur too light. I wonder how real it is. Over here a fully optioned car with AP colour scheme is chf 500k, inc 8% sales tax. That's about chf 85k less than a fully optioned 670SV when they were new.
