Powder coating looks great. Will be a nice contrast to your paint. Once again thanks for the detailed posts. I am learning much following your progress.

Chipster Glad to hear you are picking the project up. Stay warm and I look forward to your updates

I believe the raised area is a venting point for heat from the lamps.

I am assisting to so as to stay in the loop. The upholstery will make good for the cost of the piece. Much thanks to all for the input. I found the part at Ferrari Costa Mesa. They appear to have many parted vehicles for second hand part sales.

Anyone parting out a spider roof frame? The upholstery shop broke the frame on the passenger side of my 360 spider while replacing the elastic strips. I would also be interested in comments regarding welding the broken aluminum part. Some of you may see this on the other boards. Sorry to post multiple times, but I figure the more that know the better my chances of finding the part I need at a reasonable price.

I believe it is as simple as turning the wheel to expose the Allen head bolts holding each paddle to the switching mechanism.

North Hollywood Speedometer did a great job. Dash looks like new. Thanks for the referral.
-
The dash is back in the the car. North Hollywood Speedometer did a great job. And the information provided regarding dash brightness control was dead on.
-
Thanks for the replies. My dash is out being refinished, recalibrated, etc by North Hollywood Speedometer and clock. Will try you advise once I get it installed.
-
So I am going to assume hold down till it achieves the brightness level I wish, and if I hold it too long it will go to the base brightness or off and restart up the different levels?

Can someone please tell me how to dim the dash lights on a 1999 Diablo.
-
it is my understanding there is a ring nut around the drive shaft that needs to be removed with a special tool. Check with Glen of AMH or better yet I found this site http://www.fixmydiablo.com/subscribe.html 27 bucks for a years worth of information does not seem like a bad price.
-
Progressing nicely. I am enjoying the write ups, pics, and learning.
-
Is there a dimmer control for the dash lights?
-
Thanks much
-
Thanks. I am going to see what Glen at AMH can do for me. Merry Xmas to all

Thanks. Any thoughts on paint color or sheen for the gauge bezel?
