  1. Was the Vbox performance box discontinued, is there now an updated model best place to buy one below list.
  2. Do you get any lights, is there a smog shock where your are if so will it pass.
  3. Some people say you can't be to rich or to thin. I say you can never have to much power, Obama agrees with me, but I mean in my car.
  4. Do you have the fab speed and is it the single cat or cat less there X-pipe or factory sport. 50 hp is a bit more realistic they were showing 65 hp in the kit with the chip
  5. I also think the gain for reduced cat exhaust is very optimistic but the chip mod seems inline when you look at what was done.
  6. If you remember last year before the update Fabspeed claimed on the 592 hp car and there exhaust with the evom piggyback update chip 724 hp 659 hp with Evom no exhaust.
  7. Update highest 2012 1787 and lowest 2013 1814 the switch over was in Sept that is now just a 26 car spread about 1 week of production. I was told 500 came into the USA even if it was 600 a third of the production not very many.
  8. A little more production research the highest 2012 I found is 1780 and the lowest 2013 is 1814 so we know the last 2012 and first 2013 land in that 34 car zone if you know of anything in between please post it. It would be nice to know how many were really built so far it looks like 1800 give or take 20 cars.
  9. How many 2012 MP4-12c were built, from looking at some VIN # I know it is more then 1732 that is 2012 and less then 1835 that is 2013 looking at owners VIN can we narrow it down or does anyone know the number.
  10. I have both an LP640 and a new Mclaren so I think I can really tell you the difference. The LP640 is a circus car when you go out with it people will follow you take your picture and ask a million questions including what do you do for a living, I just say I am a drug dealer it shuts them up. It is fast, noisy, rough and a whole lot of fun to go out in when you are in the mood for excitement. Hard to park and leave anywhere a pain in the ass in traffic. Not sure you will not get tied of it as a DD for a few months but other then that a real blast. The Mclaren is faster but you will never no it because it is smooth, quite, and can be a daily driver. It is hard to get in and out of the Lambo is easier you get the looks and questions but more because people don't know what it is. Two completely different cars in the Murcie you will have more fun but get tied of it faster. In the mclaren you will not have as much fun but you will be happy longer. I don't know what I would do if I had to chose. I don't, you do so I hope I was able to give you enough to help you chose. Any other questions just ask.
  11. The ones that I saw where they both used launch control it was even out of the hole and that was a big surprise, one was an 1/8 mile one was a half mile and the Mclaren stayed in front by a small amount on both. I think they are close enough that it would go back and forth depending on the driver and car prep. in the 1/4 or 1/2 but i would have to go with the Aventador in the mile.
  12. No surprise I would love to see the Mclaren Vs Aventadoor 1/4 mile
  13. I always loved that car but it seems not that many others did also.
  14. I think this story helps with the different Dyno numbers. http://www.popularhotrodding.com/tech/1106...os/viewall.html
  15. I read elsewhere on this forum your GT-R was accurate at 12% I think you could apply that number to a strong running AWD car like the GT-R or the Aventador but when you get a 8 or 9% AWD something is off. I think the Aventador traps at 137 that is strong there can be other reasons for a good trap like that even though it usually means HP but it should also show an ET lower then the 10.6-10.8 the Aventador does. I think the chassis Dyno is good for a before and after comparison of performance parts but leaves a lot to be desired for real word accurate HP numbers .
  16. I just think that Dyno is adjusted high, it would be nice to see what those cars show on another Dyno. With cars of that power just 2 to 3 % makes a big difference. I think you will find a good 2wd would be around 12%. The numbers for the Aventador show about 8% loss from factory rating, I think that is wishful thinking on AWD The LP670 shows 11.5 % from factory rating very aggessive also but within the realm of possibility.
  17. I think people should be more realistic if it is stock, I don't think you will find an all wheel drive car that will lose less then 15% from crank to awhp average is 15%-18% With those numbers you would be looking at around 750HP not likely. The Aventador performs inline with all its predecessors add or subtract weight and the same with HP and it is where it should be. If the factory under rated it then they under rated all there previous cars. It is not difficult to have very optimistic numbers on the Dyno if you are looking to get them. The Aventador is a fast car but it does not make that type of power YET
  18. Mclaren lists 2868 dry with lightweight options 2945 dry without lightweight options 3161 with all fluids and 90% gas You come in at 3220 add the other 10% of gas about 13 lbs the difference between your wheels and the ultra lite wells and take out the power seats and add the wrap and it is pretty close to the factory number.
  19. Depending on the API gravity. Usually regular unleaded has a gravity of approx. 58 and a weight per gallon of 6.216 lbs., premium approx. gravity 54 or 6.350 lbs. per gal. The car holds 19 gallons that is 120 lbs of gas that puts you at 3100 lbs sounds correct can you list your options.
  20. If they have a program people will come, you have to remember this is a Lambo site not a Mclaren home base.
  21. There are really only 2 programs Drag race and track day=road race. Know matter how many people respond it will always be those 2 just tell them those 2
  22. You say non LP Murcie so the car has to be 7 to 10 years old and has a bunch of owners so why so little miles, if it was me I would look long and hard into the miles being original. My LP640 is now 5 years old and I hardly ever use it I have four cars to chose from and I have a little over 13000 miles thats about 2600 miles a year and I put on a lot the first year when I couldn't stay away from it. Point being all the previous owners bought the car drove it a few times and parked it then sold it to the next guy who hardly ever used it and so on and so on. I find it hard to believe you get a new car you drive it until you are bored then park it in the garage. maybe 1 guy would but not 3 or 4.
