  1. What??? back in May he wanted a little over $160,000 and im sorry it needed some love. 300K holly shit
  2. Oh never mind I found it on the website. 25WX17H Oh and Happy Birthday
  3. what are the dimensions of this?? that is very cool!
  4. I really wanted to save that Low Body but I couldn't even get him to reply back to me.
  5. I agree I think the camera's flash is helping to make it look worse than it is. Someone mentioned it looks like it has been driven through salt water might not actually have but it might have been living near the ocean. Bare metal doesn't have to be driven through salt water to rust, If this car spent a lot of time near the ocean it will have some sever corrosion is some places. I have lived near the ocean for most of my life and spent 3 years living on a island called Okinawa, there is no salt put on roads because there is no ice yet everything rusts. You just have to be diligent on something like this and treat the corroded areas. Also to find zero rust on a car that is over 20 years old is impossible you can always find something with some rust.
  6. Call me ignorant but at the time I didn't have a phone and didn't think it was big deal but whatever for now I am wating to hear about a 87 FI car.
  7. yeah phone calls are a pain email was easy but it doesn't matter.
  8. I have talked to tony about that car more than once. I went down and looked at it back this summer. I love it, the car needs some work but I don't care about that. The problem is after many emails I would tell him my offer of $150,000 and I wouldn't hear back. He would tell me he didn't get the email.... That happned twice and then I gave up. But I am in Afghanistan right now so I was doing everything via email.
  9. I wouldn't be able to beat Roys offer because I think $50K is about what it is worth with what it needs. Situation totaly sucks ass and one reason I'm glad I didn't take the plunge on the S2 car he has. I would love a project but I know I can not put the money back into your pocket that would make it right.
  10. Well I would guess for paint correction and its and exotic so that means the price automatically goes up. anywhere from 2-5k.
  11. I just watched the video and saw no key as well then I saw your post. that is amazing!
  12. I'm looking for a poject but I want a Low body and I'll take a QV but I really want a Low body.
  13. yeah same here, I was like Emilio!!
  14. Helicopters are always closer to the ememy, we always get shot and but we only count the bullet holes in ourselves not the ones in the airframe.
  15. Where is this clunker DD car? If its the white one with the paint falling off I never hear back from that guy he vanished.
  16. I remember that it went from the 140's to like 155K then 160 and I'm pretty sure tony told me he paid $165k how it went from the 140's to 165 needing tires, rims, a clutch and a whole mess of other things I don't know maybe it was because the rest of the motor was good and it wasn't in need af a rebuild but it sure needs a freshining up I made my offer to Tony but have not heard back yet. I think I might just go after a FI car for now but I can't even get a response from the guy that just had the 87 FI car on ebay. And since I'm n Afghanistan on my down time all I do is frequent the forms and search the Internet and I'm not finding shit. Searching all the normal places.
  17. Concidering the shape the car is in at the moment needing quite a few things to get it running and knowing what Tony paid for it what is a Good price on this car that some believe will be worth a lot more money in the future. Again I have no problem with the work I just need to be sure my money is being spent on the right car and I do love the low body even if I need to tear into it. I still don't know what to do about that interior color I really don't like it. the number I have in my head is 150K straight up and I know its less than he paid.
  18. It is a Low body. But like Brian said it has some things that are wrong with it plus the clutch and so on The work im not worried about but even at its price I can offset other cost by doing the work myself but it does need alot of work or as some say leave it as is and drive it. The engine would come out and all mechanicals would be gone over repaired/corrected and for what it is a Full restore is in order but the price...
  19. Do you think his price is within reason for that car? When I talked to him it was over 165K With the work that it needs just to be a driver and then all the little things that it will need do you think that is a good buy? I'm a bit torn because I do not want to pay to much for something that needs a bunch of work I would like to get a car like that for less than what a comparable car in better shape is selling for when the prices are not very far apart, just like anyone. Plus that interior doesnt really get my motor running but I could live with it. I do love a low body and I would enjoy doing the work on it, it's what I am looking for something that needs love I just think its overpriced for what it does need to have fixed.
  20. The black and a salmon like interior and its a LP400S 1981 I believe. Been on his site for a while, he bought it from Roy. I looked at it and while it isn't a bad car Im not sure I could deal with all the little things about it I would want to fix and for the price I think its too much He told me something around $165,000. The bigest thing is it needs right away is a clutch.
  21. I have tried to contact the seller of the 87 but have yet to hear back. For me with all of its issues this is a perfect car for me even if it’s more than I would like to pay. I would jump right into the Euro conversion. On the Interior I kind of like that its trashed gives me the excuse to replace it instead of living with one that I would want to fix anyway with the normal wear and tear. The color isn't bad but its photos so hard to really see what is there, I've never been a fan of candy’s so a repaint wouldn't bother me to get it back to the original but the question is what was it originally? I'm not looking for a perfect car I want something that needs work so I can learn the car but that’s me I love it. I would rather have a LP400s but I haven't found any lately up for sale other than Tonys car and last time I talked to him he was putting it in an auction and that thing needs a lot of work. All of them that I have found I have not heard back from the sellers so I assume they have sold. This car at 85K would be great but I doubt the seller will go that low. I'm also wondering what they did on that front bumper like how is that insert attached to the car? And the welding of the holes in the back as long as it was done right its cool but if they overheated it there could be a lot of filler back there and that would suck.
  22. Missed the post about it being hollow just going off the visuals.
