  2. Yes the figures are lap times at Bedford Autodrome. eg 1 minute xx seconds. Do you want the peak speed for the laps as it is quoted as well?

  7. Text says the rev limit is raised by 300 rpm i wonder if this + slightly improved exhaust are the only things responsible for the power gain. software update for lp640 possible? Black is definately the best colour.
  8. http://www.esylana.com/customers/lamborghi...57&lang=en# located at lamborghinisuisse, they seem to have an awesome stocklist including a reventon.

    How much money

Whatever you have its never enough and the more you have the more you will worry about it and the less you enjoy it. However comically I have heard that in monetary terms, enough, is the ability to be able to maintain your own private army.
  13. The safe money is on a murcielago sv, would be interesting if it were something else though, i'm quite excited whatever it is. A special edition reventon style gallardo would be a good publicity tool for the lp560.
  14. Simon & Andy run http://www.6thgearexperience.com/ I was reading a while back the orange murci has done over 70,000 miiles now! He doesn't seem to post much these days which is a shame as he had a lot of experience with the cars.
  15. I guess that will teach me for reading Ferrari forums.
  16. Taken from another forum but seemed interesting:- The same source on the F142 posted this on forthcoming Lambo's - "Lambo's Murcielago successor will have 6.0L V-Twelve version of LP560's engine developing 700 bhp. Carbon body panels except roof and doors from aluminium. Gallardo's successor will retain the 5.5L engine uprated to 600 bhp. This time it will have scissor doors as Lambo is moving away from sharing parts with parent audi (marketing reason for Gallardo's normal doors is that scissors reserved for V-Twelve models only, true reason is because Gallardo was to make way for the R8 and scissors = extra cost). New awd and e-gear, Lambo is not going the dual clutch route (I guess it's to preserve the 'jerkiness' tradition? Lambo's supposed to be wild and all)."
  17. Great stuff guys, a big mix vehicles.
  18. I do a bit of development but mostly our own property rentals & management. We are small group of companys and i am based on the outskirts of London/Hertfordshire, if you know anyone in this area, its more than likely we will have crossed paths at some point. A conversation i would prefer to have in private though, feel free to pm me and we can swap emails. HRO website looks interesting, if you work for them i might have a couple of sites they would be interested in.
  19. Both guys have a good reputation but i'm just not sure i want to take any risks, will give Dion a ring at some point to see what he can offer, i understand he will negotiate on your behalf. I do not plan on using the car as transport it will purely be to make me feel good and to drive for enjoyment, i will also use it all year round which is why i'm not as bothered by buying in winter. I actually reckon the gallardo is a better car but it doesn't have the drama of the M, love both, purely personal preference, G is more practical though, better visability and size. I went through a stage of switching between them as well, funnily enough, until i realised it didn't have to be practical for me as i would only use it for the sake of using it. In my Gallardo phase i also found the G next to an old Murcielago makes the M look very dated, the brakes are also a bit rubbish. If i had to choose between an early M or a G i would have a G, later M would be a much harder choice.
  20. The post was purely speculative, looking for ideas rather than statement of fact, sorry if it misled you. I was interested in what other people drive as a second car as i'm pretty set on getting a murci, so just looking as to what would go well with it. Dealers are having a hard time at the moment, I also have contacts with several high end dealers including HR Owen. I personally think things will get significantly worse for them, so i'm waiting for the moment. There will never be a great time to buy but i think a few months will drop them significantly. I will only buy from an official dealership, and there is only a couple of colours i like which restricts the market. If you look at my posts on another forum from when i was looking at murcielagos you may see why. In particular a certain well regarded lamborghini specialist looked me in the eye and straight lied to me about a car he personally owned (it had been in a head on collision with a range rover and repaired by them). Another car had been wedged in a width restriction damaging it on both sides but was apparantly perfect and never damaged. I think you would be suprised how many cars have a hidden history of being significantly damaged and then repaired.
  21. No not going to be used for work, i work in property and spend a lot of time in places where it would make life significantly harder if i drove an even a semi nice car, i use an average van. Sadly if people think you are doing very well for yourself they treat you differently and are less likely to pay you or cut an appropriate deal. Contrary to popular belief the property market especially rentals in the UK is excellent if you're not reliant on house sales and have been sensible you're laughing and waiting till the market hits rock bottom. Just to clarify i don't actually have an lp640, got to the stage about 1 1/2 yrs ago when i was looking to buy a murcielago but couldn't find a suitable one (mainly one that hadn't been crashed/repaired or silly money) and so decided to save up and get a lp as i much prefer the updated look. I am now in the position to buy, but am waiting as summer is almost over and i think there will be a few deals to be had when the weather gets cold. Good to see there is a few locals here! In the meantime heres my RR
  22. I like the Bentley but its a bit big as i already have a range rover, cl63 might be interesting, a friend brought round a c63 the other night, it sounded good but i didn't like the interior or styling. I'm actually looking at a dsg r32, not as impressive in any way but a good all rounder. It will do less than 5000 miles a year so i'm not sure i want to spend lots on it, just to sit in the garage. Just looking for ideas really.
  23. Banus is interesting to visit, but it really is full to the brim in summer of pretentious wannabes. If you ever go there, be warned if you leave anything vaguely exotic by the harbour, it will be covered in hand prints, or worse scratched by people sitting on it when you come back. People there on holiday literally have no respect for your property. Sotogrande down the coast is much nicer but a lot quieter.
  24. What is you second car for daily use, and is it practical or just more practical than a supercar? I'm thinking BMW M6 to compliment a LP640
