  1. Sold to Yellow Fever... I just sent you a PM back with info... Thanks, Rich
  2. Guys, I have a limited edition #1134 of 2000 offical Swiss Made Lamborghini Watch for sale. It is brand new in box - with protective film still in place - with all papers and certificates. It is a 2000 year model, blue dial, Sapphire crystal front and back, Automatic, 40mm (with crown) - heavy stainless steel and stainless band (but would look great with a rubber band I think as well). The watch originally retailed over $2,000 for sale for $350 with $15 shipping. PM me or email me if interested - first response takes it... Rich Wallace [email protected]
  3. Hey Guys, Does anyone have any information from collector books or a blurb about watch makers "test watches". Not sure that is the name but let me ellaborate. I remember reading somewhere on the subject but for the life of me can't find anything now. What this is regarding is (we will use lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu for this example). When a new watch maker does his apprenticeship with lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu the final "test" is to create a watch that has very open movement (like a skeleton or open heart) as his final test of his abilities which shows all the movements, etc... I know this is a terrible description - but I remember reading something of the sort. (Why I am asking - in the late 90's I purchased a lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu from an estate sale in Europe from the father of an lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu Watch Maker) got it pretty cheap. The watch is absolutely stunning - signed 4X, etc. - but it was reported to be a "test" watch or whatever they are called. Now that it has been several years I do not remember the specifics - and want to document it to keep with the watch - and maybe potentially sell one day. Rich
  4. Had a couple of questions asked - that I thought I would share... This watch (being brand new) - has the full Warranty - and Warranty Card - so you would fill it out and the warranty starts with you. This is also not a Grey Market Watch - it fully register-able and warranty-able. This is the newest Model released in 2005 and for 2006 - this is not an old model or a discontinued. This is the Highest end in the XXL Classic line - their are lesser models without the full date, some have leather bands instead of the stainless, etc. I have mine (the one I am keeping) on right now - it is very nice, big 40mm, heavy, etc. It is really a terrific watch at a great price. The Dial is actually more silver than the pic represents (looks more like whiteish on my monitor) FYI.
  5. Hey guys - someone the other day was looking for an Oris Watch. I picked up 2 for a great price (don't ask - thought it was a great price and figured someone may want one) This is a Brand New in Box (never worn - brand new...) With all papers, manual, etc. Like I said brand new. This is the XXL Classic Full Day - This one MSRPs at $1,200 US - the cheapest New Retail I have seen was around $730 USD I have one that I will sell for $650.00 + 10 dollars Shipping - including full insurance (within the US) - if you are outside the US - we can calculate the shipping. Anyone interested let me know and we can arrange the details/payment. Here are some pics... Rich Wallace
  6. Is that a photochop of the GT? In the launch booklet - I do not see that color as a factory option... And why would someone paint it that color...
  7. Great looking car!!! However I would put some "break in miles" on her before you flog her on the track.. (Ditto Murclovr's comments".
  8. You should have looked on ebay... These are very cool and coming back into style - oversized, vintage... I am looking to pick one up as well. They are actually very inexpensive - but very cool... Russian watches are not fetching much of a premium these days. The Gill Guard/Shrapnel guard makes it worth about 100 more or so and adds a lot to the look imo... Cool watch overall - hope you didn't pay to much - if so return and take a look... If the place you bought it says it is a rare type, etc. They are not - that very type of watch has been on ebay a few times over the past 6 months - they pop up every now and then... Not to take away - they are very cool - just not expensive. More than 200 - 300 bucks. PS. I am not a watch expert - however I have been looking at many vintage watches over the past several months - bought a few books on 1930's - 1960's in which those very are valued. Here are a couple... http://cgi.ebay.com/1966-BMF-Military-Dive...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/AUTHENTIC-RUSSIAN-MILI...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/HUGE-MILITARY-DIVER-WA...1QQcmdZViewItem
  9. Not sure about the parts - but great talking with you tonight! Make sure we get picks if the deal gets done Rich Wallace
  10. Got it on e-bay... Searched under Watch Category, then selected year 140-1960 (vintage). There were some really cool 1920's watches. I have a bid on a 1920's Zenith wind up. (they are a lot thicker - but very cool looking as well).
  11. Can I get mine changed too... My Gallardo is for sale and the Spyder is on its way in February... Thanks, Rich
  12. Ok - No making fun - I know very little about watches. Other than I have about 10 (never have bought one for myself - they have always been gifts). So after reading about some of these watches I thought I haven't got a watch in a few years - thought I would buy something different for everyday wearing. I currently wear a 2000 Tag - nothing special or expensive - good watch and do everything in it. I have some other less expensive watches as well Bulova, another Tag, a low end rolex I got for college graduation (13 years ago - never worn - don't like the style so much), etc. So I decided to look for a simple vintage watch - to wear - nothing too expensive but had character, etc. So with a little research from this board on what brand to at least start my search I looked at lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu, GP, UN, IWC, etc. (Which the only one - before this forum the only high end watch I had heard of was lambda lambda lambda and the omega mu... So that should tell you about my knowledge So I ended up with this GP 1950's watch. I know little about it, its value, etc. (I got it for a pretty low cost - so not too worried). Just don't know much about it. Anyone know any specifics or where I can find more info on the history, worth, etc. Here are a few pics of it. I picked it up for just over 300 bucks - in working order and in great shape... Is it a good deal, waste of money, good find, etc? PS - again - since I don't know much about watches - I looked for something that I liked the looks of - more than worth - so no making fun of me Rich

  14. What is the car above the orange Zonda (car at the back top in the first pic?)..
  15. Man that thing has some juice... I had my volume turned up and the acclerator was nailed - I almost felt the acceleration...
  16. Wow! cool video... Two Critiques though... 1.) He took every corner so wide - he hit every entry coming back in - some of those looked like raised corners - had to kick back pretty hard when the tires hit them. Not to mention the time it would take off his lap. 2.) He really needs to tie down his harness straps - he had to adjust them every 10 seconds due to the ends flapping up by his helmet. Not something you want to be continually tucking back down as you lose a bit of focus. My guess is that he has driven the track 100's of times - but this car is somewhat new to him - IMO.
  17. I assume you are at home: If so - if you have a software firewall, proxy, etc. - this could be the problem - not firefox. If they are pop up (windows) when it locks up - it may be firefox blocking them thinking they are a pop up. The first think I would do is make sure you have the most recent version of FireFox - some of the older version would freeze occasionally. Go to tools - and I think it is under advanced - you can have it search for the newest update. I would also try to go back to the default setting - most all sites will work fine in FF with the defaults.
  18. This site doesn't work well with either... :) Technically should be good with both... I use FireFox as well - side by side they are pretty close in loading times - Explorer is a tad bit faster... But I like some of the Mozilla features better...
  19. I have a couple that are nice - I have the Infiniti FX45 - great performance a little small for a lot of storage. I also just got the wife a QX56 - this thing is huge, loaded with all kinds of cool goodies - and honestly drives like a car (for being as big as a Schoolbus). Fully loaded under 60K - pretty decent overall and the wife loves it.
  20. Do Replicas count... I mean really good ones :) I have come to belive my Gallardo is a replica - some one asked me the other day if it was a kit - and now I think it might be
