The sound of Underground Racing Twin Turbo's in Mexico - Video
VentadorGER replied to UR 55's topic in Archived Content
So....was that bike even on the gas? LMAO Stupid fast -
Yeah....everyone who can afford one lol. If i had to guess the cost of an X3 package (including billet block, turbo system, transmission, gears, wheels, tires, carbon seats etc.) then its basically the cost of another nicely speced huracan performante. But then again you get a 3000whp+ capable car and its still a fraction of the price of some "hypercars"

Most impressive scene of this entire video at 10:15....just look at how the yellow car zooms away from the 2000WHP GTR at full throttle. Not even in the same universe. And thats about as much power that a somewhat "streetable" GTR will ever make without turning it into a dedicated race car. Around 2000WHP (not sure if this particular one was gutted or had a full interior). The Lamborghini Huracan is just such an impressive platform! The DCT versions at stage 3+ level (1150WHP on 93 / 1350+WHP on MS109) are probably enough to dominate 99.99% of all real world street encounters. Simply amazes me -

At first my thoughts were holy crap this is amazing. UGR is going to be the first company worldwide to ever modify a Bugatti Chiron...and its obviously not just going to be some bodywork or a set of new wheels. Being a W16 engine with 4 turbo chargers I can only imagine the complexity of the job. Considering the cooling, engine management, the DCT. Underground Racing has always had the objective to keep the stock drivability as good as possible and I´m sure they are the most qualified to mod a Chiron, add power without ruining the car and actually enhance its performance significantly. Ultimately however I think this is going to be more of a unique prestige project rather than ever achieving new acceleration or top speed records simply due to the weight of this thing. I still love that they do it and I wish them lots of success as always. I could be completely wrong however and they will surprise us all with a quad turbo 5000hp monstrosity which would be out of this world amazing! I guess when money does not play a role at all....then anything can happen. The sky is the limit -

I see. Good luck with your new Bugatti project! Awesome to see -
Pirelli P Zeros or optional Pirelli Corsas. I don´t know if its the wheel per se or the tires that have yet to be certified for road use. The sizes are 285/35 R23 front and 325/30 R23 rear. Which are by the way the exact same circumference as the Mercedes AMG GLE 63 Coupes (285/40 R22 & 325/35 R22). Just one inch smaller wheels. So it should not be too rare of a size for the manufacturers I just really prefer the 23" wheel option over the smaller ones both from a size and design perspective. The absolute best looking choice for the Urus in my opinion!
-
Has anybody heard when the 23" inch wheel option will be available to order? So far none of the configurators have them as an option. I have heard from the dealership that they are working on getting them certified but couldnt tell me any date.
-
Thanks for this new section, even though its so far down below the others. Not sure if thats capt. chaos way to express how he feels about the Urus but its nice to have a separate discussion area now

I think they just added that for extra downforce on the rear and more high speed stability -
They should be the Hoosier DR2´s in 335/30 R18 with Toyo R888R 235/35 R19 front
-
The digits probably cant keep up
-
I´m sure Dodson and UGR are working on it. Last time they ran the red DCT car at the 1/2 mile event the shifts sounded pretty smooth and enabled the car to accelerate with hardly any interruption. Just give the development more time and I am sure we will see even crazier numbers both in the 1/2 and 1/4 mile as well as roll racing.
-
Look to the picture I posted above. There is your answer LOL
-
You had a VBOX in the Huracan? If so the 100-200mph would be very cool to see
-
UGR have not competed with any shop cars against customer cars unlike most big GTR tuners have done. The yellow car just seems like one because they pretty much get to install the very best and newest goodies they have to offer on it.
-
I don´t think he did it on purpose. Yes he probably gave a bit too much gas while staging so KC could not keep up....but the pacing distance from where they stand to roll off to the cone area is so short. Thats why you saw like 50 red flags during eliminations. Even though the concept of lining up next to each other is simple....with 3000HP cars with manual clutches to get it perfectly right next to each other is a lot to ask for. Also emotions are running and mistakes are being made. I think Ross deserves the win and is not a deliberate cheater.
-
Congrats to Ross on the win of TX2K18 roll racing! Were not really lined up perfectly but I guess in a race between team mates it does not really matter. Yellow car was clearly the fastest of the event trapping between 226-229 each run. Probably also the only one with the billet block so the only chance Ross had was to get a good start with maybe 1-2 car lenghts ahead and staying there. Go Pro footage of the green car will most likely show the yellow one catching up a little towards the end
-
Its been pretty much the same story for years...as far as street legal race cars there is nothing that beats these ugr lambos
-
3 out of 4 semi finalists by now are UGR cars. Yellow huracan set the new record at 226.7mph
