Cobra was faster off the line that expected and spent most of my time chasing, believe the faster cars waited a bit to start. Goal was to get a picture mid way with both in the frame of view. we had a strong tail wind that I believe helped the Helo more than me in the Super G. That said I took it to redline in all gears and got to run the car at max all out in a safe manner on a clear runway. Could have got top speed with another 3000ft or so. Runway was 7500ft and they shut you down about 1800 from the end for safety; amazing how fast these cars can stop. Was super stable throughout.

Pretty cool day; 175 top speed before having to shutdown; the Aventadors were doing 190+, a 720S went 194mph on the runway. A bit over a mile before shutdown

steering rack replacement; expensive but turned out ok. No issues since.

Took Car in, looks like steering rack is bad, leaking. Will be replaced. Stated there was some metal in the fluid likely from the fluid running dry until I filled. Am nervous about the flush as it could move the metal to more delicate places. With everything working fine prior to repair, should I risk the flush and perhaps force something were it should not go. That distribution block they say is 5K. already in this repair for a large amount. any one else have a similar experience?

Found it down a half a quart. Topped it off and everything working fine. Anyone have an idea of were it could be leaking, most likely spot.

Can anyone tell me how to do it. Have a small leak and the lift system is making noise now when I use the lift system. Desire to top off prior to taking it in for repair. Could not find it in the manual. 08 Super G, Please help

Looks like a sensor went bad or the battery finally died (2008, 8 years, feels right). Question, can I just get new sensors , install at any tire shop or is there some Lambo computer re-set that will force me to go to the dealer. thinking of doing all 4 at the same time given the age and fact batteries do not last forever. anyone have a good place to purchase them, 08 SuperG

Sounds like a fluttering noise when it is going up and down; system seems to work fine; noise seems to be tied to revs od engine almost like vacuum. Is this related; sounds like and expensive repair; it works fine but is just to load and everyone notices. Any ideas?

anything special you need to do; thinking of doing it myself but want to avoid issues. any brand better than others?

Have used Fields for my oil changes and such on my 08 Super G. Clean place, good staff, felt they took good care of the ride and facility was clean and professional.

Great event for a good cause. 110 mile rally where you got to drive it like you stole it with 100 of your best friends.............lots of fun
