  1. Hey Jeff, I have a 08 SL and I was wondering the same as well. On my 08 M5 SMG, the clutch instantly goes on at less then 1k rpms. With my SL the clutch takes it time up to around 1800rpms or so and takes off very slow out of the stop. I dropped it off at Lamborghini Service today to have the techs take a look at it. They said they can adjust how the clutches engages. I will get back to you once I hear back from them, but I think this is normal..
  2. Just several times I noticed that when I was getting off the highway, that when I downshifted my SL did not blip the throttle like it normally does. Just feels like it just let the clutch out without blipping causing a jerk in the deceleration. Is there something wrong with the car, happened several times.. Thanks
  3. Are you talking about the user manual?
  4. They are a little jerky driving around town, especially when they are cold. But you'll live to learn around that as when you driving fast, they work perfectly!
  5. Yes, definitely a new car for me. Had it for 3 weeks, never really noticed a jerky shift until recently, but I will take the car out today and really monitor my driving. The transmission does make a clunk at low rpm shifts, but I've been told by the service tech that was normal.
  6. Haha, never even tried it, and don't think I will in the future.
  7. Yesterday I took my SL out for a spin, and I started to noticed that the shifts around 3k rpms were jerky around town. Regular mode and sport mode. Sometimes it will be perfectly smooth and other times the car bucks a bit. I took her on the highway for a high speed run and everything worked fine there!! Just around town it was a bit jerky, this happens 50/50. Is there something wrong with my car or do I just need to drive it faster??
  8. PM FredSF, he just got his TechnoCraft seats in his SL.
  9. Pokie, Where do you live? Here in Ca there's a pretty good amount of Lambo dealers.
  10. Will do man. The car sounds a million times better. Not so much like a Prius. You should do it to your car too!
  11. Haha yeah man. What's up with that? A little metal plate behind the driver seat is at most 2oz! Would be nice to have a number plate though..
  12. So I finally disconnect the tube from the bottom and it works (so far)! Hopefully it stays like this. Do you guys feel a loss in low end torque after disconnecting the valve?
  13. Perfect! Thanks Randy! I will give it a shot tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can clear the check engine light and make it work! Do you feel a loss in low end torque after doing this mod though?? I am located in Northern California near San Francisco. If you are ever up this way, let me know! Also if like loud, check out my M5! It has full exhaust, you can hear this thing from 3 miles away ( I am not joking)
  14. Now you finally reply!! I pulled the tube in the top area by the connector, I wonder if I pull the tube from the bottom if it makes a difference. I hope so, the exhaust does sound a million times better. I am sick of driving a V10 Prius. Hahaha
  15. Thanks VCR, will connect everything back tomorrow. Exhaust did sound good for the 9 miles though!! Damn it Randy!! You screwed me! Haha j/k, maybe your SL is more forgiving.
  16. So I listened to Randy (Randysway) and disconnected the exhaust line in my SL. I pulled the top of the black tube off the plastic electrical connector. I then put a small cork in the plastic tube and taped the connector nipple with duck tape. Started the car up and instantly sounded a million times better. Went for a quick cruise around town and 9 miles later, check engine light comes on flashing 1-5 6-10. Did I do the procedure wrong? Was I suppose to disconnect somewhere else? How do I reset the check engine light? Thanks
  17. I would think some credit unions would do it. The best credit union I've worked with is Patelco, not sure if they do exotic cars though.
  18. Try Auto Exchange in Danville, Ca 925-838-1801 They have a 04 Yellow E Gear with 25k miles. I think they want 79k..
  19. Congrats! Sounds very good. The LOC system looks like straightpipes almost.
