  1. Stating the obvious never hurt anyone, at least I don't think it did.
  2. To ignore tires in any cornering or track comparison is not a good way to determine the cars ability. Slap Trofeo R on the 720S and it will be faster. It also will lose a big part of its design philosophy, where it's meant to be used on the street, that includes rain. The Performante was over 5 seconds a lap slower than the 720S on Autocar's wet test track. Now, you might not drive in the wet with a supercar, but tires are a HUGE lap time contributor, and arguably is the biggest improvement for any of these cars over the last 4 years. It's why a F1 car on Ultrasofts will blow by a car on Soft, even with 100 less horsepower and a worse chassis
  3. The P15 will be insane, but straight line is not the party trick of the 720S. It's that it can be fast on the track and then be a great cruiser, even in rain because it uses Corsa tires. The car puts those lap times while being sprung softly. That's incredible. Trofeo R tires is worth a lot of lap time, they're not really usable in the wet as seen from the Autocar wet lap times, and they wear fairly quickly. That's mostly true of the MPSC2 as well. Of course it's strong in a straight line from power to weight and aero. But if setup with Trofeo R, I'd be surprised if anything in this class other than the GT2RS would take it out
  4. This is madness. Can't even begin to imagine the BP23 or P15
  5. It's not just for straight line. Probably the best all-rounder for sale. That doesn't appeal to everyone, of course. Lots of us prefer the harder track focused stuff, have preferences for sound, looks, etc. This car can handle. Doing Performante and AMG GT-R lap times with less sticky tires. Rumor is it did a 1'21.7 at Willow. That's crazy
  6. * Will run deeper in the 9's and 146 bone stock with Corsa tires or Trofeo R in no time
  7. Which track? Which tires? Fugly comes to mind from this https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/AYMqIKpUMI0...3_4_front.0.jpg
  8. Personally, think it's ugly. That whole front end is a mess and I've never liked cars with the canopy extending that far forward. Whole concept reminds me a bit of the Maserati Birdcage concept which was far more elegant and cohesive, imo
  9. Are these cars using billet block? That's some crazy power mentioned in the thread
  10. Um, what a crock of shit. The economy advances that Trump loves to claim is a result of Obama's fiscal policy. He hasn't actually done anytime other than float the idea of a tax cut, one that he isn't capable of pushing through which will result in the largest drop in the stock market in 9 years. The GDP growth of 3.1% vs 3% expected is the biggest joke in years. It's not even the best in the last 6 years. And it's such a small margin that it's within the error of calculation. When you have to claw at shit like that, it's a sign of desperation. Unemployment also a joke, the trend was clear since Obama's terms. Privitization of air traffic control is the biggest joke in aviation history. Ask any pilot if they would like their lives in the hands of the lowest common denominator in contracting. Cutting banking regulations sure helped in 2008, with the largest crash in recent history and banking bailouts costing the taxpayer billions of dollars. Good idea. Can't even keep up with the amount of dumb posts with no sourcing that you posted, and even the ones that are known, they're fcuking stupid decisions to begin with. Cut all regulation to environmental affairs and take us back to LA 1985. Environmental pollution kills millions of people a year, he wants to deregulate it all. He puts people who have no business of being leaders of departments in charge. Their incompetence truly is fascinating. The sign one, cut two regulation stance also makes absolutely zero fcuking sense. If you have three good ideas, you can only do one? Even a second grader can understand that makes no sense. That's just to start, but we can go on
  11. We are? What in the fcuk has he accomplished? This isn't getting assraped, this is three dicks at a time crammed in the cornhole while twenty incompetent fucks bukkake all over
  12. The new Trofeo R on the Performante is a next generation to the one offered for the P1 and Camaro Z28. It and the new MPSC2 are huge steps up from the originals, these cars on lesser rubber would be much slower in track, but much more usable in the real world.
  13. Race cars used to have power at those levels. Can Am Posche and 80s turbo F1. They'd still have that kind of power if they didn't have limited on number of engines in a season and fuel flow limits. Time attack cars now have power close to that and it's needed for lap time. You can shave off seconds a lap with faster corner exit acceleration and straight line speed. You also can add significantly more aero, look at Mercedes killing everyone else in F1. That's with just 40-50 hp more than their competitors
  14. In Japan they call it the scramble boost button. Very common for highly modified tracked GT-Rs there
  15. Not enough downforce, and an inefficient way to shed drag. You guys need a splitter to keep the nose from lifting too much and an active rear wing that you can DRS once the car hooks. And better tires
  16. There have been many hijackings in the US prior to 9/11. Heck, over 130 in just a 10 year period. How many are there now? 0
  17. The NTSB has forced many improvements over the years and probably saved thousands of lives. I wouldn't call that window dressing. How many hijackings have happened in the US since 9/11?
  18. Planes crash and the NTSB crawls all around that shit, determines what went wrong, and forces manufacturers to make changes to improve safety if possible. People fly planes into building and regulations are implemented to significantly increase cockpit security.
  19. How many do you think he would have killed with the setup that this coward used? My biggest concern now is times square with all those people at the ball drop and one of these nuts going full auto there. That's a security nightmare.
  20. Those of us who religiously watch gun YouTuber personalities have known about bump stocks for years. Not the most popular since it's a huge waste if ammo and accuracy, but sure, perfect I guess aiming center mass of the crowd
  21. The irony that knowing that you don't need a FFL for private party sales makes you uneducated. Also, ATF allowed it under Obama, but NRA sure as hell didn't mind
  22. You realize statistically in the US, there is a mass shooting once a week, right? Why is it that we have so many more than the rest of the world per capita? I don't care if you own guns, I own a few myself, but the private party sale loophole, gun show loophole, and all these accessory runarounds make no sense. Where does it end? How do you think it would work if there was no regulation whatsoever? Obviously there is a middle ground and where we are at, you do nothing, it will only continue. PS, that Washington Post article didn't mention that the GOP has canned funding for the CDC to investigate guns and their effect on public health, so we don't have a clue about what does and doesn't solve this issue. The NRA has this country by the balls and will never let go
  23. And where do those guns come from?
