It is highly impossible due to the fact that most billet pieces dont have the contour. I have a copy of those original wheel blue prints and to replicate it with billet is not likely. If you are able to match exactly the contour exactly, I would be interested.

highly modified countach can make close hp to diablo. However, I think the key issue would be the torque, aero, and gearing that comes into play...

yes. this is true. the engine was deemed to powerful and too heavy. Not to mention the additional cooling capacity needed for the engine. which is not possible for the qv. lamborghinikid, did you see the engine from Robert ball's place?

I agree that the countach is definitely slower. My se blows it away easily. But, if modified correctly, a ct, I believe can keep up with a diablo up to the sv model. Then again, I could modify a diablo and make it even faster. So, everything is relevant and bottom line would be that countach is 80s, diablo is 90s. Different era, different performance. But, I LOVETHEM both. :twisted:

I heard that the 7 liter engines were too heavy and too torquey for cars? Yeah. if there are no additional weight from the engine I would definitely consider it....

or just wait for someone to crash the new murcie 6.5 and get the engine :mrgreen:

The 6.0 chasssis tubing is actually thicker than earlier diablos....

no problem. My car is right now at 3200 some odd pounds... I think with those additional mods, i can get it down to 3000

interior leather body panels. replace with carbon fiber dash, doors, no leather. take out ac... radio .. amps, speakers... lighter wheels. composite axles. carbon intake box, remove air bags. remove leather compartments on the rear. replace with lighter weight carpet or delete carpet. titanium headers, use titanium exhaust. titanium suspension springs. forged aluminum suspension arms. titanium shock bodies. delete all sound insulation. carbon sheet replacing steel sheets on the chassis... titanium roll bars...

This is an interesting thread....I just like ALL Lambos period. This thread is sounding like a ferrari bashing thread except this time, it is lambos against lambos. Look each lambo has their thing. Each owner has their preference. SV, SE, GT, any of the lambos has a certain character. I like the diablos just as much as I like countaches. I like SVs just as much as I like SEs. I like 6.0 as much as I like murcies. I would admit that the newer cars have lost some of it. But, nevertheless, for the most part it is still pure lambo. And no one can take away that. You gotta appreciate audi being able to in such a short time turn the company around, improve build quality etc. Put anyone in their shoes and some sacrifices would need to be made. That is why I love them all. And honestly, I am working diligently to collect more.... I appreciate anyone of those cars. Okay jjust to help others.... The reason why I love my countach so much is because no one can call me that time and no one can bother me. That is actually "quiet" time for me... Its like sitting on the toilet, no one will bother you.

Or just fully charge up the phone before you drive in it...

Well, countaches generally can house all kinds of animals. A car I was looking at before was well, like a forest. Some birds nested in it, and rodents as well. The owner never drove the car. Needless to say... I passed on it. I wanted to buy a car, not a miniature ecosystem...

I know that you want to charge the phone. However, given the fact that it is not compatible, why fight it? Just get an extra battery. Cost for converting your existing lighter vs. getting a battery is way higher and more troublesome.

get a better phone? get a portable cell phone charger? change the batttery on the phone.... buy another batttery for the phone? I wonder why you have to try to butcher the car so that a cell phone charger can be installed? :roll: :roll: :roll:
