  1. Guys name is Elliot over at Turblown Engineering; His email is turblown@gmail. I'm leaving out the country for a while this is going on the back burner.
  2. I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to; however I haven't spoken to anyone on this forum. When I referred to someone on here speaking highly of them it was this member.
  3. That tubing is crush bent. That belongs on a Civic. That is $1200?
  4. Where is Boost Logic located? Any chance you would like to disclose what they are charging you?
  5. I spoke with them about the tuning and they are currently doing a EFI box on an old countach and having a diablo ecu reverse engineered. They also do a lot of heavy ecu tuning on other cars, motecs etc. The more I email them the better it sounds. One of the guys has a pretty good rep on here it appears, there is one guy that swears by him. I guess he used to be on an F1 team and head of Lamborghini North America. Not really in a big hurry though. SP sounds like an option too as they aren't that far away.
  6. I'm not really looking to ship my car out. I would rather be able to check progress in person, and if things go wrong be able to knock on someone's door. I know how these things go. I looked around the forum trying to get a feel for pricing of these other places, and it appears that a lot of people have had the run around. One guys build ended up at 108K, and it sounds like it started at 45ish. On a side note I just looked at the UGR site and they aren't even using a water cooled turbo... I'm not real interested in short cuts, money isn't an issue; I want it done right. This car isn't going to be a garage queen, or driving grandma to the grocery store...
  7. I've had my O4' for a while and I'm bored with it's power level. I found this forum and was quite surprised that many others have turboed their cars. I used to own a turbo viper, so I'm pretty familiar with what I'm looking for; raw power, and reliabilty. I recently visited a local shop that has been working with turbos and lambos for a long time. I am considering on pulling the trigger. Comments? Suggestions?
  8. Its called Mass Air Flow. I know how turbos work I missed the part where these 10psi runs were on race gas, that explains the huge leap in power.
  9. So how does an n/a gallardo put down between 360-450awhp, put down 900+( at least 2x) with only 10psi of boost. It usually takes over 2x atmospheric pressure( 15+psi) to do that. Has anyone tried outsourced dyno shops? I am not doubting these cars are fast, but I just think there is a lot of bullshit on these forums.
  10. What is the claimed power output of that Gallardo? Obviously that video title is off. I don't think a gallardo block could take 26psi on a proper setup.
  11. I doubt that gallardo is running 26psi.....
  12. I ran one of those when they first came out, 40-140mph, I put 10 cars on him... I was at 29psi though
  13. You're better off with 18s anyhow, tire selection is a lot better... Or are you one of the guys who has 10 year old rotting rubber on their garage queen....
