  1. Any new / cheaper products are always welcome, somebody has to be first and over time people will always make cheaper alternatives, that is life. I don't see why a gear box mount whether Reid or another supplier would produce vibrations ? The Carbonio solution is quite clever though, but appears to be lose 80lbs vs 150lbs from a gear box mounted system. Yes the bracket that replaces the diff has some weight, but what does the torque tube weigh !!
  2. Just to bring this thread to a close... Grange (Tunbridge Wells Lamborghini) , couldn't even find the part number, let alone get a price. HR Owen could find a price for the Alarm Fob, but then wanted to charge £200 to code it to the car, plus the £50 in fuel to get it them !!! Yet a man that lives thousands of miles away managed to order one and post it to me for less !! It maybe a cheap and nasty looking bit of plastic, but it works !! Thank you Glen
  3. My early 6.2 belt was a Contitech 7pk 1570. That is what came off, there was a spare in the car that was a little smaller 1568 and Eurospares offered one that was a little bit longer 1575 !! cost £15
  4. Thanks. As i say I don't doubt the work and effort that went into these. I managed to replace the engine bay to front shocks lifting hose on the Murcielago for about £180, Lamborghini wanted £466 plus 20% Tax.
  5. Whilst I appreciate the effort put in here, and one off parts are never cheap. $1400 for two hoses !! I know they don't have any left but did even Lamborghini charge that much ?
  6. changing plugs was bad - stretching my hamstrings !!!
  7. Whilst the rocker covers are off....... Anybody done this themselves ? There is a video on youtube showing one valve changed only took 11 mins !!! But engine is out and on the bench, i accept access to the rear of the engine is painful. I can find valve clearance measurements for the Diablo 6, do we know if an early 6.2 is the same ? Measuring looks easy enough, changing a bit more hassle. Thanks

Morning, I need another, for a 2003 "Update" car I have read the numerous threads that suggest you can buy them separately but Lamborghini (Tunbridge Wells) in the UK appear to be struggling to get any meaningful answers from Italy. Eurospares list the fob as part 0061005005 Yet i am being told Italy have no record of that part number ?? Has anybody bought a replacement Fob recently ? I would prefer to leave the system in place rather than remove it and bypass the solenoid valves on the fuel filters if possible. Thanks
  12. Morning, Mine always seems to need tightening up !! 2003 car. Do they need to be torqued like some ferraris or am i just not as big and strong as i thought ? Thanks
  13. 6.2 murcielago ashtray. The basic plastic structure is from the rear door of an Audi A6, you just remove the heavy metal lid and swap it over. 2002 C5 model
